theoretically i know what is moment of inertia, but i'm desperately i want to know,

what is moment of inertia, practically and the application of it, we all know that moment of inertia is sum of the Mass and square of the distance from a fixed axis. but how do this is applicable in bending stress?!!!!!! how it' s related how to express i dont know?

The client wants a helipad on terrace of 33 floor multistoryed apartment building, is there any specific structural design of rcc slab which supports the helicoptor landing or any alternative , if there please suggest

can a civil diploma holder( from india) working in a structural engineering company for past 10 years and designing various types of building, can do his own practice as a structural engineer? or it is necessray for him to get a registration from any institutions, because it is not possible for further studies to get any degree, or AMIE Membership by attending exams.

mere experience or certificate from the company where he's working for past 10 years and his boss knows his ability and experience as well as his service for the company? can anybody help me?( it woud be better if the person is from india who knows the situation better) also if it is illegal to practice privately, what is the next step. he's 42 now and the people who know me very well( builders, etc,) asking me to do their projects and not from the office where he is working. please help me. if there is any online course or certificate course and anybody who can give me the certificate ? looking for a genuine answers.

i want to know, can a diploma in civil engineer with an experience of 10 years working in a structural engineering company and exposure to structural engineering by designing several apartments, commercial complex , give structural designs and can do private practice? or it is an offence or illegal? Because so many builders can build apartments, buildings without knoweldge of any engineering degree but only on their expericence also an ordinary bar bender will give steel details for a residence, can't a civil diploma holder with design experience? or is there is any other way to become structural engineer by short term CERTIFICATE course except the AMIE or Me(struct) Can anybody help me out as early as possible. Beacause I'm frustated by age.

i want to design a truss, but the client don't want any typified A-frame truss, instead he wants a box type i mean a lattice girder lean to type truss which is spanning 40' , i hope you'd understand the problem he want a truss lean to type but it should be box lattice girder with vertical diagonal top chord and bottom chord type, for a span of 40'!!!! can any body help me to design this type of truss and i'm unable to design the truss also the truss can be using hollow box section, tube section, or angle sectin

even i know the answer i'm not convinced, because it's confusing, it says moment of inertia is sum of masses of object x square of the distance from some reference axis, but how this square of distnce comes?!!!!! i dont know

becasue we can understand force x per dist from axis of application is moment it is simple and understandable, but

how this square of distance come in moment of inertia comes i don't know ? please help me to understand this anybody
