Smart phone maps tell people my street is one street over. Anything I can do to fix?
Any time someone puts my address into their smart phone it tells them to turn onto the street just before mine instead of on my street (both are dead ends). Is there anything I can do to fix this or at least get the ball rolling in the right direction?
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans8 years agoOnline video commercials don't stream at same rate as original video?
Any time I watch a TV show online that has commercials in addition (such as on Hulu.com) the TV show loads and plays with no problem and no delays at my bandwidth, but the commercials always have problems downloading and they play with gaps in time as if a kid was playing around pushing play, pause, play, pause etc. Why does this happen? Is there a way to fix it so that this does not happen?

2 AnswersProgramming & Design9 years agoLets play name the movie! First correct answer gets ten points?
This movie centers on a group of kids living in a land riddled with drought. The government controls all the water. The kids meet up with an underground group who get their water from an ice flow. The deaf kid in the group regains his hearing miraculously.
1 AnswerMovies9 years agoIs there a way to see original images of records in new.familysearch? see detail?
I'm looking at some of my ancestors in new.familysearch and someone has combined at least two people together in one record. I want to see the originals to unravel the mess. I know I can search the regular familysearch site for the names, but I was wondering if I can access the original images straight from the new?

If you take a survey is your sample group considered to be all the people you ask to take the survey, or is the sample group only those who do respond to the survey?
1 AnswerMathematics10 years agoHow long to let a realtor look for a house for me?
I'm a first time home buyer and new to realtors, so I don't know if my realtor is slow or if I'm just being impatient. So my question is: How long should it take from the time I describe to my realtor what I want in a house before the realtor starts showing me houses.
(By the way, I do know there are houses in my price range with features I described to her in my area, because I took an hour searching online and found over 30 potential candidates.)
Please answer only the question that I asked, I have already received lots of real estate tips.

3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoWhat is the technical term for not being able to distinguish one voice in many? see details?
For example you are in a noisy restaurant and you can not tell what the person across the table is saying, even though you are trying to listen to just that person. It is not tone deafness, I can distinguish different tones (I can clearly tell the difference between B flat and C sharp). I just cant distinguish one person's voice when there are many similar voices.

5 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoI have had major TV pixelation ever since digital transition. How can I clear this up?
Ever since the transition from analog to digital television broadcasting I have not been able to watch television without lots of interference from pixelation, including losing sound all together about half the time. Thry say the digital television is supposed to be so much better, but when I had analog I could see and hear all my channels just fine.
I am receiving only free channels using a digital transformation box with a regular antenna. What can I do (not switching to cable, sattelite, etc) to improve quality of this supposed "better" service?
2 AnswersTVs1 decade agoMy Water Bill makes no sense and City Hall will not answer my questions. see details?
I just moved in to a new city and put the water bill in my name. The water comes through the city. I got a bill which covers 6 days and was told it was pro-rated, but is way too high (about $50) to be only for 6 days worth, especially since there were no hookup charges.
The woman at City Hall could not explain why each charge was a unique percent of an entire month's charges, all well above 25%. She also refused to give me the contact information to the computer consultants who handle the billing.
If this was a regular business I would contact the Better Business Bureau, but who regulates Government units? Who do I contact when the local Government will not help?

1 AnswerFacebook1 decade agoAttach 4 prong dryer cord to a 3 prong dryer?
I just moved into a new apartment and need to update my dryer from 3 prong to 4 to get it plugged into the outlet. The cord I bought is color coded, but the inside of the dryer and the old plug are not.
I was told the left and right on the dryer are "hot" and the middle is neutral, but what colors are hot and what color is neutral? (The plug I have has black, white, red, and green)
