  • She's always busy?

Ok, there's this girl that I like, I called her once and asked her if she wanted to do anything and she told me she was busy but that she would seem me the next week. So the next time I see her, we talk and I ask her out to the movies, she says she's busy. Then later that week (one week after I had called her) I call her and ask her out again since she says she's free Fridays, but then she tells me again she's busy. So today I asked her if she wanted to get together to study for finals (nothing wrong with that, right?), again she says she's busy. Should I just give up, because the way she had acted towards me when we met made it seem like she liked me?

  • Is she interested in someone else or do I have a shot?

Ok, I really like this girl that's my friend but when I was talking to her and her friends, one of her friends referred to this one guy as her boyfriend. I asked her about him and she said that this guy was just someone she liked to talk to but wasn't her boyfriend. When I asked her if she was going out with anybody, she said she doesn't know yet. This guy works @ my school library and when me and this girl were walking out to get to class, she said she saw the guy there and wanted to go talk to him, I leave for class. Anyways, I ask her if she's busy on Friday & she tells me yeah but she'll call me. My question is, do I have a chance with this girl or is she so interested in this other guy that I should just give up?

  • Did my friend on Facebook block me?

It's weird, she's been on my friend list for a while and then just yesterday I clicked on her name and instead of taking me to her profile it just showed her name, her network, and the option to send message, view friends, or remove from friends. I'm still on her list of friends and she's still on mine, we haven't sent each other messages or posted comments, so I'm not really sure if she blocked me or not. If not, is there any way I can set my profile to do the same thing (show my name, network, and profile pic but nothing else)?

  • any connection between college and what job you get?

I was just wondering, since I'll be attending Cal-State Long Beach in the spring but my gpa right now is only 2.76 (I'm currently a junior @ San Jose State) which pretty much kills any chance of getting into law school like I wanted, will employers really care what school you graduated from, assuming you only get a bachelor's? Should I try to get an MBA from Long Beach instead or can I just start working for a company and try to move up?

Also, I'm majoring in finance, so anybody who was a business major or anything similar, your advice would be appreciated.

  • Long Beach vs. San Jose State?

I'm currently attending SJSU, I'm majoring in business with a concentration in corporate financial management and I'm going to be transferring to Long Beach in the spring because I'm so bored over here since it's a commuter school and I happen to live on campus. I'll be living at home when I go to Long Beach, but I was just wondering how it's like over there, more specifically, how are the classes (I'll be changing my concentration to finance when I get there) and how is the social life and general atmosphere over there? How does it compare with San Jose State? I'm just asking so that I know what to expect when I go.

  • Transfer from San Jose to Long Beach State?

It is currently my first semester here at San Jose State and I'm not really enjoying it that much so I applied to transfer to Long Beach in the spring, I sent all my transcripts from my JC to Long Beach and I just want to know what are my chances of getting accepted to Long Beach after I had already attended one Semester at San Jose? My major is business administration and I saw that most of the classes I'm taking @ SJSU right now transfer over to Long Beach and the rest of the undergrad requirements I already met at my community college except for one philosophy class. Will Long Beach accept me for next semester or should I just re-enroll at a JC and try to transfer again?

P.S. I want to go to Long Beach since I want to be closer to home (living on campus when it's a commuter school really sucks) and I did get accepted there when I was in JC but I decided to come up to San Jose instead to get away from home (oh what a wonderful experience that's been -_-).

  • Advice about SJSU?

I'll be attending SJSU this fall as a business major (transfer student) and I'd appreciate any advice that current students and alumni can give me. I've already been told that the teachers are excellent but that not everyone is serious about their studies and that it's a commuter school. I was also wondering how difficult are the classes and what are the chances of me finding a good job or getting into law school after graduating from there.

  • San Jose State University?

I'm going to be attending San Jose State in the Fall as a transfer student (business major), and I was wondering what your experience there was like (for alumni and current students)? Did you get a good job after graduating?

  • Anybody go to San Jose State University?

I just got accepted there as a transfer student and I was just wondering, what's it like? I'm majoring in business administration with a concentration in corporate financial management and I'm planning to live on campus.

  • What should I say to this girl?

Ok, there's this girl in my statistics class that I really like but the thing is she's so quiet that I don't know much about her. I tried making small talk with her just to break the ice (things like, "So how do you think you did on the test?" or "Anything interesting happen last week?") but she doesn't really seem like she wants to talk or has her mind on things other than me. What sucks the most is that I go to a JC that's a commuter college, so I only see her like twice a week and that's it. What should I do?

  • Question for business administration and economics majors.?

I've recently applied to 3 Cal-State schools with the intention to major in business administration but I've also applied to 5 University of California schools and (with the exception of Berkeley) declared my major to be something like managerial economics, management science (in the economics major), or business economics. I'm currently majoring in business administration right now at my community college. My question is, is there really much of a difference between majoring in business administration and majoring in economics? I've visited the schools' websites and found that there is some overlap, but there are also differences. I was wondering if it would make much of a difference if I went into economics or if I should just stick to business administration since that's what I'm already studying.

I applied to the following colleges as a transfer student (this is my last semester @ a j.c.), I have a 2.87 overall g.p.a., majoring in business administration (or anything related like economics), and I work 15 hours a week @ my job, also got a 1220 on the SAT (the old one) in high school. I'm also on the tennis team @ my school.

  • Any college counselors out there who can help me with this?

I'm a community college student and this is my second year. I already sent in my applications and I'm just curious about my chances of admission. Getting to the point, I have a 3.05 overall g.p.a. and am trying to transfer to U.C. Berkeley as a business major, I've concluded that I'll meet all the breadth requirements by the end of spring semester, but as for the prerequisites, I've got them pretty much all covered except for one english class I need which is no longer offered at my JC. Will the admissions people at Berkeley still let me it even if I'm missing just one prerequisite but have taken care of everything else?

  • school admissions question?

Does anyone know a website where I can find out what my chances are for transferring to a university? Also, can anyone tell me any other website for transfer students other than Assist.org?

  • Question about transferring from a JC...?

This is my 2nd year at a JC and because I took classes to try to get to UC Berkeley, I didn't do IGETC or the Cal-State GE. My question is, do I still have a good chance of getting accepted to other University of California or Cal-State schools if I've got a good gpa but am missing some classes (I haven't taken any physical science with a lab and my gpa is 3.04)?

  • Which Cal-State school is best for studying business?

I'm going to be applying this fall to transfer to a university and right now I have a 3.04 gpa. I'm a business administration major and hope to go to law school afterwards and become a corporate lawyer. I'm particularly interested in business law. Also, I'd like to go to a school that's in an area where there's a lot of things to do, there's more girls than guys, and is as far away from Orange County as possible.

  • difference between majoring in Business Admin. and Management?

I'm going to be applying for transfer to a university this fall and am currently majoring in business administration. The school that's my first choice seems like a long shot because of my gpa and the other schools I'm considering offer majors in something like management science, managerial economics, or just management. Can anyone tell me if there's really much of a difference between these majors?

  • Anybody know a school in California I'm guaranteed admission to?

I got a 1220 on the SAT 1 in high school, I've taken the SAT 2, I'm a community college student with a 3.05 overall gpa (at least as of right now) and I'm a business administration major who wants to become a corporate lawyer, oh, and I suck at math. Anybody have any good schools in California to recommend?
