My son is 3 years old. Christmas Eve (Saturday) he was reaching with his finger into his throat. We weren't sure why he did so and he couldn't tell us the reason. His appetite subsided. Christmas (Sunday) he seemed fine, just no appetite. The next night (Monday), while brushing his teeth, I noticed a read, swollen throat with white puss spots. Tuesday morning I took him to his pediatrician who took a quick look not to make my son cry. His pediatrician said it was just allergies and to continue taking his Claritin. By Thursday, I was still concerned. I took him to the walk-in clinic for a second opinion. The dr. got a better look and said it was tonsillitis. He prescribed amoxicillin. It is now New Year's Day (Sunday) and his throat is still red and swollen with puss patches. He was reaching with his finger in his throat again, as if it bothers him. The doctor's offices are all closed, as I have already tried to contact them. Should I be concerned that the antibiotics aren't working, or should I wait it out a little longer?

So...we just found out we're pregnant and the baby naming saga begins!! lol. We're not going to find out the sex of the baby until birth so we will need to have both names ready.

My husband is adamant about using Sydney for a girl. I'd like to dress it up a bit and make it sound feminine, intelligent, and classy. Here are my ideas:

2. Boy:

We will use Aiden/Aiden as the first name and Jude as the middle. Jude is my husband and his father's middle name so it stays. He seems happy with Aiden/Aidan and I love it so I'm not complaining!!

Goodness gracious! I have my theory but I'm just not sure anymore. Then I found out that the writer actually has prewritten 7 seasons! wowzers. What's going on?!

We are trying to concieve and it's been a week and a half since I ovulated. I 'm scheduled to start my period Wed. or Thurs. so I'm not late as of yet. I just want to know if I am having actual symptoms or if it's way to early to tell. By the way, my hubby asked me not to take a pregnancy test until he comes home in 2 weeks!

Symptoms:

I have been so tired lately that I go to bed at about 7-8. Normally i go to bed at 10:30 -11.

I have been spotting.

I woke up with the WORST headache and have had to take tylonol every four hours because it is horrible!!

I'd like to at least make what I'm making now... $40, 000 ...or better. Something with minimal stress, and no work to take home!! I'd love secretarial type work but don't know of any that make what I'm making. (not that I'm breaking the bank or anything!! lol) Any suggestions.

First of all, my husband and I are trying to concieve and I should find out next week if we actually concieved or not! I do drink strong coffee each morning and sip on one can of coke all day long. I have looked on various web sites that say small amounts of caffeine are ok. But...the other day my mother in law panicked and said all caffeine can cause miscarriage. So I actually have 2 questions:

1. Am I drinking too much caffeine?

2. Can this amount actually cause miscarriage or birth defects at this time--if i were in the very early stages of pregnancy?

I want a feminine name that flows well, sounds beautiful, and will grow with her. I will list my ideas. I am a teacher and work with many great people. This is my first year at this school and although I greet many people down the hall, there are many people I don't know very well. My hall is giving me a bridal shower for the faculty to attend as well. My question is, should everyone I work with recieve invitations. This would be an extra 70 invitations. I have recieved mixed advice from family and friends. These are my choices:

1. Send every faculty member an invitation.

2. Place one invitation in the faculty lounge to show everyone is invited, but later mail invitations to members of the faculty I am closest to.

We just bought a brand spankin new house with a corner jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. My fiance's family told us to clean it by filling it with water, add a bit of Clorox, and run the jets for 1/2 an hour. The water turned brown and stained our brand new tub! YUK! I've slowly been able to clean it...but I want to know why this happened. Help please!

We just bought a house and my fiance is offshore. The termite guy came by this morning and said he had an appointment. Turns out he had the wrong house and the wrong street. I know we are going with this company but we haven't switched the contract over from the builder's name to our name. The guy asked what our address was and what my name was. I told him my full name but he wrote my nickname down. He got my number so he could call about coming tomorrow to do termite protection. I know this needs to be done, I know we are going with this company-but how did he know my nickname? Should I allow him into my home to do his job or wait until my fiance comes home in two weeks?

My dad always told me the 3 I grew up with were the middle 3 (we all know this.) He also told me there were 3 before (we all know this to be true as well.) My fiance has so many friends whose weddings he was the best man in and wanted to include as many as he could in our wedding party. The priest allows 8 attendants on each side, we talked him into 9! However, I have two brothers and wanted them to play an important part in our wedding. I planned on having my brothers walk me out, we'll meet my dad, he'll walk me down the isle while my brothers walk behind us. This way I feel that the 3 important men in my life are giving me away to the man I am marrying. Does this sound doinky (dumb) or does it sound sweet? What do you think?
