In desperate need of help remembering an old, obscure horror flick about werewolves.?
At least I THINK its about werewolves. My mom and I watched this movie on a local TV channel around 1979-1981. (I feel like it was a weekend afternoon presentation).. I'm assuming the movie was made in the 70s.... early 70's perhaps. All these years, both she and I have been wishing we could remember what the movie was called. All we really remember, which really stuck w/ us and to this day we still quote it, is- a little boy (apparently after he became a 'werewolf') knocking on his front door, but his mother fearing for her life wouldn't let him in. So he opened up his arms (and I believe knelt) and cried out "Mama, let me in!"
I know, I know, not much to go on.
Now if I am remembering correctly, it was set in a remote location.. think it was wooded and winter time. I believe it was filmed in black and white.. and was set back in time (though I don't know the time frame). I'm not sure if I'm mixing this movie memory up with another one, but I recently had a revelation that the movie might've been a horror story of "Peter and the Wolf".. I've been trying to google and figure it out, but its of no use.
So is there anyone else who saw this movie!?!!?! Help... please.. and thank you.
2 AnswersMovies1 decade agoAre you a "poor" rich person OR are you a freeloader?
Because based on what I'm reading on these boards.. those are the only two options.
You either earn over $250k but are still "poor".
Or you are a good for nothing, lazy, welfare sucking freeloader who's waiting for a hand out.
So which is it?
As there is no middle ground apparently...
So I must be the only person out there in my situation. Someone who has worked her entire life, even had a 2nd job during most of my 20s. Who has been struggling to keep myself above water.. who lives paycheck to paycheck. Who has worked her way up in one field and has a good, in demand skill.. who is working hard to support herself. BUT struggling doing so, as I am absolutely NO WHERE near $250k. And I see over 30% of my earnings going to taxes and sure could use a break!!
And I live in Los Angeles, and the cost of living (and therefore salary) is much higher then other parts of the country.. But again, NO WHERE NEAR $250k, which I keep hearing is "poor".
But apparently, I must be the only one in this situation.

Tina Fey could most DEFINITELY do a spoof of her on SNL.

Do you have a favorite painting or sculpture?
I've been fortunate enough to see many famous pieces of art (in London, Paris and Florence).. and there are so many that are beautiful... I must say that seeing the statue of David was very special. As was seeing Venus in a halfshell.. its just so enormous!
Ophelia (at London's Tate) is another one that blows me away....
I'm curious what others love.. and maybe there's some that I haven't discovered yet..
