I am planning to open a bridal consignment boutique and wold like to start out with a few gowns. I need help in finding wholesale suppliers of bridal, mother of bride and prom gowns, etc. Anyone have info on how to locate wholesalers?

I love the wedding business. After being a consultant at David's Bridal, what to do with the wedding gown afterwards is a real concern for most. Although some use ebay, there are some who do not have the time for that. A bridal consignment boutique would allow the resale and renting of used wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses, as well as other formalwear. I am strapped for startup funds and don't know where to get my startup inventory. I have the perfect location in mind and have come up with a name for the business. If there is anyone out htere who can give me some ideas and advice, I would appreciate it. I am working on a business plan for the boutique. Any help on that would also be very welcomed.

I had the test to check for Down's syndrome and it came back positive. The doctor performed a sonogram and discovered that the baby's skull has not fully developed. I am five months pregnant and it is beyond the development stage for the skull to have developed. The doctor has told y husband and I that we have two choices--terminate the pregnancy now or I can carry the baby to term, deliver in April with the expectation that our baby may die shortly after delivery or at elast within two days after being born. We are devastated. This is my second pregnancy. I miscarried the first one at two months. I am torn as to what to do. My husband has left the decision up to me. My parents and friends all tell me to terminate--that I will not be able to handle delivering my child then he or she dies. My faith tells me to deliver, name our baby and see what happens. I don't think I would be able to live with myself if I terminate without giving my baby half a chance. HELP ME, PLEASE !

In March of last year, I moved into an apartment with a roommate. Since that time, I have developed medical problems and other personal difficulties. I must move back home with my parents. Problem is, my roommate will not let me out of the lease. I even found someone who wanted to move into the apt in my place. My roommate did not want another roommate. I am now back at my parent's home and still paying rent at the apartment. My roommate will not work with me and let me out of the lease. She says she does not want another roommate. I rarely see her. My furniture is still in the apt and the lease will not be up until March 2008. I even continue to pay my portion of the utility bill even though I am never there. I have tried to talk to her to make some sort of arrangements so that I can legally move out but she will not bend. She knows about my medical problems and my need to move back home. Can someone tell me what to do? I work parttime and can barely pay the rent. HELP

You will have to see it to believe it! I never really thought about washing new undergarments. But when I read the article about the infection that you could get by not washing your new undergarments, I have definitely thought twice. The article speaks for itself and you can read it and see actual photos at the site indicated here. Let me know what you think after reading it. The photos are quite disturbing.

My cousin was placed on house arrest in November 2004 after being arrested and charged with a crime. He was taken off of house arrest in September of the following year based on a new bond hearing. He was indicted and charged with the crime. He was sentenced to 56 months in the federal prison system. He has been told by his counselor in prison that the time that he spent on house arrest should count toward his sentence. BOP cannot award him the months toward his sentence. He has been told that the sentencing judge has to approve the awarding of the months. My cousin has to write a letter to the judge requesting that he make the amendment. He needs help doing this. Anyone have any information or know of a site where we can go to get a template or an idea of how to structure the letter to the judge. We want to say the right things. The counselor said that he will proof it once it is written. Please help!!!!!!!!

I am a bride to be and visited a David's Bridal in my area. I was dressed from head to toe and loved the unique shopping experience. I have never experienced great customer service like I received at David's Bridal. Anyone else have a story to share about their experience?

The Fantasia Barrino story was so publicized and when it finally aired on LIFETIME, I was very disappointed. She is a terrible actress. Maybe they should have gotten some else to play her part. The movie was not good at all. It jumped from one scene to the next. Don't get me wrong, I like Fantasia, but the movie, in my opinion was a FLOP. What do you think?

I will be opening a banquet hall type facility that will accomodate weddings, receptions, parties of all types, proms, corporate meetings, etc. I want a name that will let everyone know that this facility is not only for weddings and receptions, but for other types of events as well. I will provide catering, complete planning and execution of events. Thinking of having a "dinner night" once or twice a month especially for adults to enjoy a nice romantic candlelight dinner with soft music and dancing. Any more ideas welcomed.

He is incarcerated charged with trafficking coke, which was planted in his vehicle by his employer. The employer is now in fed prison, still insists that my son knew about the drugs. My son has always insisted that he knew nothing of the drugs. I believe him. He has never been in trouble before, has no arrest record, not so much as a traffic ticket. He has a new wife and a two yr old son. He comes from a good family and is a wonderful provider and father. Impeccable character and thoughtful. Believes in family. He was arrested in October 2004 and was on house arrest for nearly a year. Then federal charges were brought against him, he was indicted and is awaiting sentencing from the judge later this month. I feel that a letter of character reference to the judge might help. My son-in-law is not remorseful because he did nothing wrong. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people.
