I am the mother of 3 teenage daughters; ages 17,16,and 13.

My husband and I have a good marriage and he is a good Dad. I think I am a good mom. My husband and I love the role of parent to our daughters.(just a little back-ground)

here is my question...what do girls at this age think of their moms and need most from their moms....... and why do they seem to "like" or get along better with dad?

were the symptoms you were suffering from first diagnosed as something else like sinus problems, acid reflux, etc?

I have a 13 year old daughter who suffers from upper-GI problems. Her Doctor has been treating her for acid reflux. she takes Nexium am and pm along with watching her diet, etc. now this seems to be working.

however, when her stomach is not bothering her she suffers from headaches...... puzzling. A Friend called and shared a similar situation of a girl her age. It was concluded that she suffered from what is called "reverse migraine". she was treated with Topomax and all symptoms are gone.

has anyone heard of this? thanks for any and all help!

I have heard/read that we create our own reality with the thoughts we think most of the time. For example, I am worried about not having enough money, so... ..... abundance will not come into my life because the emotional vibration I create with worry will keep it at bay.
