Cyrus
Well, I'm Cyrus. A 20 yr old Christian man from south Texas. I answer more than ask, but I can gladly say I've learned a few random facts on here. And by the way, after about three Rockstar energy drinks I pee green.
Interested in purchasing a hot.?
I live in texas and I have two snakes already. I'm contemplating purchasing a hot. I've been trying to find laws regarding hots in texas but have found nothing conclusive. I'm trying to decide on a good starter. I'm thinking maybe a pygmy rattle snake since it's very small and easy to deal with, or maybe something of the sort. Once I have more experience I'm thinking a set of rattlesnakes with varying venom types (mojave - neuro-toxic, diamondback - hemo-toxic), and just for grins a leusistic monocle cobra and or gaboon viper I'm rather interested in milking, and possibly working up a tolerance to venom. I know it's easier to synthesize anti-venom from venom resistant blood than the venom itself. I figure it would be something fun to do and it could be for a good cause as well.
4 AnswersReptiles1 decade agoHas any enlisted man or woman out there been called a baby killer; how did you cope with it?
I don't know why people are so ignorant about that kind of thing. Yes, in vietnam and even this war alot of children are being killed. The media just refuses to show the AK's in their hands and the suicide bombs wrapped around them.
7 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoHow do you think the inevitable withdrawal of U.S. forces will effect the entire Middle East?
Currently, any semblance of stability in Iraq is depending on the presence of U.S. troops to keep order. Seeing that, the U.S. needs to keep involved until the entire situation is resolved. In essence, to leave now would be to crap and not wipe. Sure we can walk away, but we would walk with a squishy crack. That squishy crack would be an escalation is sectarian violence, and Iran noticing that Iraq was vulnerable; most likely they would invade. More than likely other countries would get involved, possibly even Israel. That's where the **** would hit the fan. Somewhere along the line, someone would end up using a nuke and the violence would continue to spread. Remnant Al Queda forces and surviving supporters of Sadaam Hussein would be in the perfect element to spread their hatred. More attacks on the U.S. and other countries would occur, and there would be nothing we could to to stop it. The Middle east would be in flames, followed by Europe and then Asia. Who's to say we won't be next?

2 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoGoD SAVE KING GEORGE!?
Gotcha, actually I was a bush supporter, but as of late I've decided against our corrupt democracy all together. We can't trust any of the politicians who claim to be on our side. It seems like no matter who it is, they have some kind of agenda. What we need is a system of government based on the original bill of rights with bits and pieces of socialism and fascism, topped off with some fair and just leaders. That would be the perfect mix to offer safety, security, and freedom without the loose ends and labrynth of bullshit our current government suffers from. Who's with me!? VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!!!!!!!
6 AnswersElections1 decade agoIf a Communist or Fascist party threw their hat in the ring offering security and safety, how would you vote?
Fascism and Communism have both been given bad raps for their abused history, but given the proper leadership both and offer security, safety, and freedom. Included in their advantages are perfect distribution of social security, free education, health care, and housing. The only negatives are slightly higher taxes. But you still have spending money left over. It's all a matter of the leadership that decides on the potential of either types of government. So considering this scenario, with a just and fair leadership, would you choose it over the failing democracy that we have now?
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy are liberal democrats so afraid of the Second Amendment?
The Second Amendment is the greatest gift of our forefathers. It is the one freedom that guarantees the others and allow us to defend our lives and our freedoms from those who would choose to oppress us. The rights of the many outweigh the opinions of the few. The Democratic party and their opinons, with support of the U.N. sees fit to deny us that freedom. The U.N. in all it's glory has declared that our right to defend ourselves is a violation of the rights of would-be perpetrators of our own rights. The U.N. takes pride in supporting genocide in African countries that participate in ethnic cleansing by disarming the oppressed and providing for the oppressors. To give up the Second Amendment is to give up all freedoms.

21 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agowhat is the age required to move away from home in texas, without being emancipated?
I have a friend that really can't get along with his parents and if he can get out will move in with my dad and I. How old does he have to be to get out without having to go through the emancipation process. It used to be 18, but now everyone is saying it's 17. He turns 17 on the 20th so we need to know.
13 AnswersFriends1 decade agoMay I be given the opinions and expertise from experienced military personnel, preferably U.S. Marines?
I have planned out my entire life with enlistment as a foundation. Oh, before I continue. I have thought out all of this and considered every consequence I could concieve of, death, dismemberment, the fact that a military contract is selling your soul, having to kill people in any manner, depression, home sickness, etc. But, enlistment is what I want. After I graduate this year I going to have a job for about a year so I have some extra time to screw around. Then will come getting shipped off to basic. I am aiming toward a twenty year career until retirement. But for my first your years, I have found myself interested in becoming a recon sniper. Yes I do understand the stigma behind being a sniper. Being seen as an excecutioner, maybe even a coward. I also have considered the mental issues behind such a profession. (don't answer until i have finished with all the details, it will be rather obvious as to when I have done so, but it's gonna be alot to finish typing)
12 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhat's your opinion on gun control compared to mine?
To me gun control is a steady hand. Guns don't kill people, people with guns don't kill people, people kill people. My dad carries a gun and guess what, he's never killed anyone. In fact, my dad's guns have killed less people that Ted Kennedy's car. I can set a pistol on a rock in the middle of a desert, and it will stay there forever without hurting or killing anyone unless some dingbat picks it up and shoots someone with it. So why are guns dangerous? They aren't, they can only be as dangerous as the people using them. Britain and Austrailia have banned firearms completely and their crime rates have skyrocketed. Crooks and criminals realize now that citizens are unable to defend themselves and prey upon them without fear. Of course in Britain if you even defend yourself, you're going to prison too! How screwed in the head the British government be? That makes me want to blow up parliament like in the movie 'V for Vendetta'. - to be continued.
16 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDon't you hate it when you hear blacks complain about slavery?
The white man did this and the white man did that. Hey guess what, most of the slaves were traded into slavery by other blacks for goods that the white man provided. I learned about this in history class, coastal tribes took prisoners from disputes with inland tribes and bartered with them. The white man bought them, but the black man sold them. Straight up.
Besides if it weren't for slavery, you'd probably be lion **** on the Sarenghetti right now. How does that make you feel?
28 AnswersHistory1 decade agoWhy do people refer to the Iraq conflict as a "war for oil"?
It doesn't make much sense to me. Besides, lately Bush has been pushing for less dependence on foreign oil and encouraging development of ethanol and electric powered cars. Even furthering our nuclear resources has become an issue. Are the people that started that little nickname just trying to discredit his leadership? I can't wait until the next election though, I'll be old enough to vote. Hopefully Colin Powel or Condoleezza Rice will be running. Powel sounds cool enough, he coordinated the fighting during the Gulf War.
19 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoexcluding issues of legality, what are your opinions regarding my idea or a fighting club.?
Now that I have your attention, I'd like some opinions on a fight club that a friend and I are starting. We got the idea recently when we were purchasing some boxing gloves. It struck me like lightning, "Dude, we need to start a fight club." So now he and I have it in our heads to carry this through. Starting off we are going to recruit fighters in our circle of friends and later on, slowly gain new members. My friend posted a similar question to this one and no we are not 14 year old underweights trying to act macho. I myself am in it for the, fun, competition, and fitness that comes from boxing. But of course we'll allow more than conventional boxing, other styles and forms are acceptable. Also we will be concerned with safety as we will be wearing gloves and mouthgaurds, and will have a first aid kit on hand. After we get enough fighters we will train, have fights, and when everyone is ready we will have matches with spectators. Gambling will be allowed, but 10% goes to the club.

13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agowould you consider a person that got a sex change to actually be of that sex?
I just don't think that a dude that got a sex change is a woman, i don't care if there's a vagina and x-chromosomes running rampant, there is no ueterus and there was originally a penis.

People always think it's weird when i tell them i've never had it, and i've been told that when i do get it that it will be pretty bad. i still don't see how it's weird, kinda like how i can stick out my shoulder blades, chew aluminum foil, stand to run my nails down my chalkboard, etc.

10 AnswersPolitics2 decades agoI think when i'm in the military and get sent to iraq, i want to try camel racing?
When I'm a marine and get sent to iraq I want to get my squad buddies to chip in to buy a camel then load him up on creatine and crap to muscle him up and excercise him buy leading him around with a humvee. Then I will race for cash. "check under the hood of my camel yo, he's muscled up and can run like the wind!" When the time comes, who wants to race for pinks.
