  • Do you consider Boston Market to be fast food?

Do you think Boston Market should be classified as fast food the same way McDonalds, Burger King, etc is? I don't think I would since it is meant to be a family dinner place but for take out instead of sit in but I saw someone mention it in a thread about healthy fast food. What do you think?

  • Is this fair for a dress code?

At my work place (a supermarket), girls are allowed to wear capris as long as they are not shorter than above the knees, but guys cannot wear shorts of any length. I do not think this is fair. Capris are not that different from shorts. My high school had this similar dress code issue. Is there anything I can do to convince the boss to let guys wear shorts to work in the summer as long as they are appropriate for a work setting?

  • Can someone help me with my mp3 player issue?

I have a Creative Zen Micro Plus 512mb mp3 player that I got in September 2005. My player is freezing whenever I try to play an mp3 or wma file. I know that it is not a problem with the battery, the new headphones I started using recently, or a problem with the viruses (I ran a virus scan on the files and nothing came up). It also froze once while I was playing the radio. I really don't want to have to replace it but I'm going to have to if I can't fix this issue. Anyone know what I can do?

  • Should I keep my Gameboy Advance SP or sell it and buy a DS or PSP?

Two days ago I won a Gameboy Advance SP in an arcade game called "Stacker." But I know that the SP is an old system now and that the DS is the new and popular one. I also am interested in getting a PSP. I would like to keep the SP because it is more portable, can also play original game boy games and gb color games, and doesn't have the dual screen the DS has which I slightly don't like and it confuses me a little. Plus the games would be cheaper for SP and of course used old games are cheap. But the DS is new of course and will be getting new and better games for a long time and there are games for it that I'd want to play that aren't on SP. It's also not that much more than an SP and I could always rent games along with buying them and/or get used ones for both. Not to mention you can play online with other people on DS. I like PSP because it can play movies and go online but it doesn't have that many good games and the console and other stuff for it are expensive. Advice?

  • Should I accept or reject my cousin's offer?

My cousin is co-running a music festival in a couple of weeks. He offered me a job as a dunking booth vendor and possibly other odd jobs at it and really good pay that he says can probably be in cash and up front. I have had a lot of trouble getting a job and now I really need and want one and this seems like almost a guarantee and not a very difficult job. However, there a couple of things going against me. First, my mother does not really trust my cousin that much because he has been known to have a lack of responsability, maturity, intelligence, and commitment. It would also mean being away from the house for at least a few days with just him and otherwise people I've never met. The other thing is that I know he smokes, drinks, and at least has done drugs in the past sometimes heavily and I'd rather not get involved in any of that being around him and people he knows or anyone else who may be doing them. So now I'm just looking for some opinions about this.

  • Can someone help me fix my DVD player?

I have had a problem with my DVD player for a few months now. It takes me several tries to get a DVD to play, getting several error messages. I am almost certain I have all the wires and stuff connected correctly. The brand of my DVD player is JMW. The player itself is a few years old. Is there something I can do to correct this problem or should I just replace it?
