  • confirming debit card with paypal?

I have gone through the process of confirming my debit card using a 4 digit code on on my statement a few days ago and it said it has been confirmed but I still can't use it yet. When I click on the card it doesn't show status confirmed even though I got a paypal code on the bank statement. Do I have to wait longer or did I do something wrong. I was told I'd get refunded $2 but still haven't received it.

  • This type of parenting, what does it sound like to you?

When I was a child my upbringing was like this set of rules, don't overreact, don't raise voice too much, don't snap, don't make too much noise, don't run around making a racket, watch what you say and do. I broke one of these rules I'd either get scolded or told off. So my question of the day is "What type of parenting does this sound like to you?

  • A question about the basque language?

I've noticed that basque nouns and adjectives tend to end in a and other times not e.g. etxea/etxe (house), marrubia/marrubi (strawberry), urdina/urdin (blue). Why is this? How are they different?

  • Question about sugar?

It is advised that you have no more than 9 teaspoons of sugar daily (4x9=36g). Is this referring to added sugar or is it referring total sugar intake regardless of where it comes from i.e fruit, vegetable or otherwise? Even if you were to follow a very strict diet with no added sugar and maybe go as far as eliminating fruit you still might go over the limit depending on how much of the vegetables you consume.

  • Does getting sunburnt result in deeper tanning?

I got a bit sunburnt nearly a week ago and had no intention of getting sunburnt. Now I'm starting to see some deeply tanned areas. So does getting sunburnt make you tan more deeply? I had no intention of this happening by the way. Also will the peeled away areas be the same colour as the tan?

  • Should I restrict foods high in oxalates?

I would like to be eating more beetroots, rhubarb, spinach etc without worrying about possible health implications. I personally never experienced problems with things like kidney stones. Should these foods be eaten in moderation or can they be eaten regularly and how often should I be eating these foods? I do exercise and drink water just in case that might be relevant.

  • Does being a nudist increase metabolism?

I've noticed that ever since I became a nudist I've been more comfortable with less clothes on even at lower temperatures. I suspect that this might because my metabolism is higher in order to generate more heat in response to lower temperatures.

  • What's the deal with board shorts in Australia?

Is it just me or are aussies obsessed boardies, I just don't understand why they're like in every clothes shop. Why aren't there more basketball shorts like there is in America they're much more comfy. Seeing that they are uncomfortable I don't get the board shorts trend in Australia. Another thing I don't understand is why aren't basketball shorts common place in Australia when they should be as they're much more comfy.
