  • Scraped paint deeply off underside of new car to bare metal?

I scraped off two patches of paint off my new car bottom front bumper when I parked it too close to the curb and the lip went over the top of the curb (I did not feel it). Car is new and the paint peeled off to the bare black metal. one small patch scraped off on each side. I covered it up with masking tape but it needs more protection than that. You cannot see it unless you are underneath the car or it is raised for oil chg and lube on a rack. But I am concerned about rusting. Is there some better protection you can suggest for the bare metal? Acrylic paint dabbed on with a small brush? Or Rustoleum paint dabbed on with a brush? I only had the car a few weeks and feel bad I scratched it already.

  • Which companies make the best computers for home use?

I am looking for a laptop replacement, thinking of a mini 13 inch for portability and travel. Which

companies do you feel make the Best computers next to Apple? I need a fast reliable one that doesn't break easily or gets stuck and programs fail. One with a DVD drive and enough USB ports, preferably under $800.

  • Getting lots of Mailer Daemons even for text only messages?

For the past week I have been getting lots of Mailer Daemon rejections. Some rejections are of forwards that normally go thru, and other rejections are of simple text messages with no photos or graphics added. Rejection usually says Message too Long, even with simple text message that wasn't too long. The rejected message is made longer due to all the garbled letters that are attached to it whenever something is rejected. This has happened to me at least 8 times in past week.

  • Built in Blue Ray or Blue Ray with adapter?

Going to buy a Blue Ray player with new living room TV in the future. What is best kind to buy, a player with a built-in WiFi, or one that needs a Wi Fi plugin adapter? I don't want to make a lousy choice. And what brands of Blue Ray players do you think are bettert? I don't want to spend more than $150. I saw a Sony and Samsung on sale at Best Buy for $140 recently.

  • length of HDMI cables?

I am going to buy a 40 inch flat TV and put it on a stand no more than 12 inches from the wall. The electric outlet will be pretty close and so is the outside cable line. The stand has 2 shelves and I will put the new blue ray I buy with it on one of those shelves under the TV. What is min/max length of HDMI cable I need? I don't want too long a cable or too short. Can I get by with a 3 foot cable? I will also upgrade to a HD cable box after I get this TV, so that makes 2 boxes under the TV.

  • HDMI cables for HD LCD Tvs?

I have analog cable service with no boxes at all. Just bought an LCD HDTV 22 inch JVC for bedroom and I returned the first one, a Sharp, because clarity and color were not good. Have same problem with the new one even after adjustments. Do I need HDMI colored cables on this TV (its directly connected to the cable line only) or a HD box or a subscription to HD digital cable service? I have Bright House Advantage service only. It would cost me more to upgrade to Digital cable HDTV service o I am hoping to keep costs down as much as I can. I know nothing about HDTV cables.

  • How do you hook DTV converter to portable indoor antenna and then the TV?

I have a new DTV converter, new $16 indoor portable TV antenna and older 2000 analog 13" TV. Need help attaching cables to all 3...I am 60+ and dont know the terms of what porthole or cable to stick where. Converter and new antenna both have room for 2 cable hookups. TV only has the antenna- in porthole & no audiovisuals.. The old pole antenna on the TV wasnt good enough, so I bought the new $16 antenna for it. Reception isnt good in my area with DTV converter alone.

  • How to hook up digital converter and RF modulator?

Anyone know how to hook up a RadioShack digital converter and RF Modulator box to an older small analog TV with one hole so it can be used without cable or antenna input? I only want to plug it into the wall electric outlet and watch local stations. I dont plan to add stereos or DVD players to it.
