  • Lazarus was dead for 4 days before Jesus resurrected him (John 11:17) ...?

Lazarus was dead for 4 days before Jesus resurrected him (John 11:17) ... Where do you think he was during that time? Heaven, Hell, Limbo, Purgatory, or merely cold, lifeless and decaying in the tomb?

  • You do realize he can't solve EVERY problem we have, right?

Yes, Barack Obama made history by becoming the first African American elected President of the United States (landslide at that lol) ... but is everybody still applying the Messianic halo to him? Do we (as people in general) truly believe that he will completely reverse 232 years of American history?

  • Safe Haven Law ... Your thoughts?

I'm not a parent (and this isn't really and R&S question), but I just read that the Nebraska safe haven law has once again been used as a cop-out, and a 17 y.o. boy was abandoned by parents who considered him a discipline problem .... whaddaya think of that? Good idea, bad idea, etc.

  • The Preacher Wants Me Buried - Why?

I'm bored, 10 points to the 1st person to come up w/ the appropriate answer.

(Oh, and if you don't already know, you'll have to look into a less-than-favorable industry to a less-than-favored individual's quote)

  • R&S Drinking Game modification - Can we add this???

Hey, I've noticed that a lot of people ask Jehovah's Witnesses about why we believe (excuse me, why we know) Michael the Archangel is the same as Jesus Christ. Can we add that question to the drinking game, cuz I'm growing weary of seeing it? Who must I speak to, do the atheists run the game? (No, honestly)

  • Evolution - Has any1 ever considered this?

Something to think about. Let us assume that we came about by means of evolution, and that we are related to, say, apes.

1st, why did seemingly lower forms of primates like monkeys and apes survive when the homo erectus and others like that die out?

2nd, why are we getting dumber if we've evolved? Look @ what mankind accomplished in the past w/o the help of the technology we have today (pyramids, sphinx, stonehendge, etc.). Why is their construction such a mystery to us?

3rd, (more like 2b) why, considering that we're the most intelligent life forms, have we created such fairy tales about the afterlife and the supernatural? The other animals accept death as death and don't see past it. We just have to make up ways to survive, either by heaven, hell, reincarnation, or something like that.

Lemme know whatchu think, creationists and evolutionists alike.

  • Those planning on going 2 heaven, what about Rev. 5:9?

'9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.” '

So if you're going 2 heaven 2 rule as kings/priests over the earth, who's gonna be left on the earth 4 u 2 rule? Just the animals, or are there s'posed 2 b only a few (maybe 144,000) in heaven ruling over the human race on earth?

  • The Rich Man and Lazarus?

Did anybody ever consider that Jesus' parable about the rich man and Lazarus was symbolic and did not actually have anything 2 do w/ a literal burning hell?

  • Can any1 explain these scriptures??

    Daniel 12:2, John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15

These seem to contradict the idea that everybody goes directly 2 heaven or hell after death. Actually, it seems more like the dead stay dead and in the grave/tomb.

  • If Death and Hell (Hades) are to be tossed into the Lake of Fire, can there really be a literal burning hell?

Look in Revelation 20. Can there really be a burning fire/brimstone hell if it as long as Death (which is not a tangible object) will be tossed along with it into the lake of fire (which means the second death)? Holl@me...
