  • What are some good prank ideas? We're involved in a Prank Wars and are starting to run out of ideas!?

It started with a simple water balloon, escalated to water guns at 2 am, then moved on to saran wrapping a car, covering a car in post it notes and other accessories, turning a car into a bubble machine, printing up a flier advertising a fake lawn service, and (in the rain) toilet papering a car...basically mummifying it....we want things to remain safe, and basically legal. No person is to get seriously hurt!!

  • How do I find someone that my dad was in the military with many years ago?

I've tried people search and other generic people search sites, but can't find anything that doesn't cost a lot to get information.

The reason i'm not willing to pay anything is because there are MULTIPLE people with the name of the guy my dad's looking for in the area he's in.

My dad served in the Marines from approximately 1973 - 1976 and was primarily stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. The name of the man he's looking for is Robert Dunning. Last my dad knew he lived in a town somewhere south of Pontiac, Michigan. He thought the town began with the letter "U" and was a short name.....but he was uncertain of that.

If anyone knows who this person is or of some sites where I can look, it would be greatly appreciated by me and would mean a lot to my dad. Thanks in advance for all of your help!!

  • Has anyone ever traveled a long distance by train...specifically Amtrak?

I'm travelling by train (Amtrak) to Denver from Iowa in late October. I've never traveled even a short distance by train before.

I'm looking for both good and bad experiences people have had (whether be on Amtrak or some other train) and any tips/advice people can give me. It'll be an overnight trip (5:30 PM to 7:30 AM) and I'm not in one of the sleeping cars.

I'd like as much information as possible....how easy it is to get a snack or drink, are there lots of wierd people, is it easy to sleep in one of their seats....etc....all information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

  • Does anyone know how to use either Microsoft Excel or WordPerfect Quattro to set up a tracking system?

Here's my dilemma! I'm looking for a quicker way of calculating points and keeping track of cumulative standings in a workplace NFL game. Right now I do everything by hand, which I don't mind, but i'd like to make it easier and quicker than writing everything out on paper when entering into some type of tracking system would be soooooooo much easier.

I've tried to use both but can't figure out how to set the values of each column or row so that when I enter a numbers in any given square that they add up to a total in another square.

I run a football pool/trivia game at my workplace. Every week I make up sheets that have all the games on there and everyone has to pick which team will win. All games are worth the same amount of points except the Monday night games are worth double points and varying other games on Sundays are worth extra points. I also have a variety of bonus questions each week that range from 100 to 200 points a piece.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Does anyone know how to set up, on a computer, a tracking system for points in an office football (pool) game?

I have no experience with Microsoft excel, but am a quick learner. If anyone knows of any other program or website that might be able to help, i'd really appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Can anyone recommend good places to eat out or visit in the Denver area?

I'm visiting a friend in the Denver area in a few months. They're new to the area too, but I want to make the most of the vacation.

We'll be at a hotel on 16th Street for 2 nights (for the night before and after a Broncos game).

We just want a few suggestions for places to go and hang out, eat, and just generally have fun!!

It's the new hit reality show on A&E. I can make out most of the words, but there are a few I trip up on. Even if you don't know the whole thing, please write what you do know. Thanks!

  • Who is your favorite and your least favorite so far on "Rockstar:Supernova" and why?

You can list more than one favorite if you can't decide. Also, tell me what you think of the show in general so far!

  • Which of the final 2 on American Idol do you think will win and why?

Although I think it should've been Chris, i'm torn between the remaining 2!!

Katharine was a favorite of mine from the beginning, but I think Taylor has too big a fan base to lose. Unless he completely chokes, I see him as the winner.

I haven't decided who i'm voting for next week. I think this will be one of the first weeks I actually wait to see the performances before I decide who to vote for.
