  • Internet working, but video streaming not working?

Our Internet connection is fine, but any videos we try to watch on Netflix or Youtube just sit there buffering. Netflix was working fine last night, and Youtube was working fine earlier. We just noticed this issue about half an hour ago, and have tried with two different laptops.

  • Nose runny and stuffy... nothing works?

My right nostril is so plugged up that I can't breathe through it, and several tries with the Neti Pot were unsuccessful. Yet, it keeps dripping at the same time. I can't stop blowing my nose. I've taken an antihistamine and a decongestant. Nothing is working, and I'm very frustrated.

  • Which base coat nail polishes have a matte finish?

I read in a magazine that nail polish sticks better to base coats that have more of a matte finish to them. Are there any out there that aren't the really expensive kind? (meaning something I could pick up at my local Target, Walmart, etc.) I'm running errands tomorrow and would like to save gas by not having to check every store around town.

  • How to undo system restore for Windows 7?

I watched a Youtube tutorial that showed an undo option when the system restore program was opened, but I don't get that option. I can only pick a new restore point and start the restore again. Will doing that work like an undo would, but then apply the new restore?

  • How to stop diarrhea after magnesium citrate?

I took the full 10 oz. bottle because I was really backed up. It worked, but all that's been coming out now is pretty much slightly brown water. It's been doing it for a while, and I'd like to know a good way to get that to stop. I have to work early, so I'd like to get some sleep. But I can't sleep if I keep having to get up. I'd hate to take Imodium, but I feel like that's the only thing that will stop it.

I've been drinking water, and the only food I've had is applesauce. I'm afraid to eat, but I'm getting that weak feeling because I haven't had any solid food today.

  • Is there a laxative that won't give you diarrhea?

I'm a little backed up, and was given that saline laxative by the doctor. Basically, it gave me diarrhea. I had to work in the morning, so I had to take an Imodium to get it to stop so I could get some sleep. Is there a laxative that will just make you have a normal bm?

  • Keyboard not working?

My keyboard was working fine last night. This afternoon, I unplugged it because I took my desktop with me to get a video card upgrade for it. When I got back home and plugged in the keyboard, it wouldn't work at all. I have two keyboards, and neither one works. What could have happened?

  • Monitor says "VGA signal, no input"?

I'm trying to get the monitor from my old desktop to work with my new one, and it just says that every time I turn it on. I know it's not the monitor because it works just fine with the old computer. It looks like I have all the same stuff plugged in on the new one that I did on the old one. I don't know a whole lot about computers, and I'm getting really frustrated.

  • Monitor cord literally stuck?

I have a new desktop, but I'm using my old monitor with it. The problem is, I can't get the monitor cord to unplug from either the monitor itself, or from the desktop. I pick up the cord on the desktop end, and the desktop comes right with it. It is that stuck.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do here? I do have a new monitor cord, but that doesn't do me any good if I can't get the other one out.

  • Why does my nose run when I wake up?

My nose runs every time I wake up in the morning, and every time I wake up from a nap. Why does this happen, and is there a way to stop this from happening every time? It's getting rather annoying.

  • Job "personality assessment test" answers?

A lot of places I've been applying to have these personality tests, and I can't seem to pass them. I've tried answering honestly, I've tried answering what I think they want to hear, and I never pass them either way. If I apply online, my application won't even get forwarded to the company because I didn't pass the test.

Basically, I want some sites that have tons of the common questions from these tests, and what the best answers are. I haven't had much luck searching on my own - maybe I'm not searching for the right thing.

  • Why shouldn't you get a flu shot when you're sick?

The information pamphlet I have about the vaccine says not to get it if you're sick, to wait until you feel better; but what happens if you get the shot when you're sick? My info doesn't say what happens if you do.

  • Feeling ill after inhaling gas fumes?

My boyfriend came home from work today with a slight headache and feeling dizzy after inhaling gas fumes coming from something that some other workers were doing nearby. Is he going to be okay or should he get to a doctor?

  • How do I block downloading from a website?

I want to block the ability to download a game from a website. I don't want it downloaded because the game will take up too much space on our computer. I have IE 8. I went into the restricted sites and added the site, and made sure the settings said to disable file downloads, but when I checked the site, it still allows the downloading. What else can I do to block this?

  • Website blocking not really blocking...?

Basically, I'm trying to block a website. I have done two things:

    1. Gone into Internet Options - Security - Restricted Sites; added the site to that list. It isn't supposed to allow downloads, and other things, but when I checked the site, it was still allowing me to download.

    2. Went into the Content Advisor section... ehow.com made it sound like you could add one site to the list, click "Never" and it wouldn't be allowed... well, it worked too well... I couldn't access any site without adding it to an "Always" list. That would be annoying as hell.

So... how do I block just one site without blocking all the others?

  • Scratches: Director's Cut - Disc 2 Won't Install?

I'm trying to install "Scratches: Director's Cut" for PC. I have Windows Vista. The game comes with 2 disks. The insert recommends installing both disks for maximum performance, etc. I put in the first disc, and it installed. A little popup came up saying to make sure to install the second disk. But when I put it in, nothing happens. The instructions for when the auto-run doesn't work don't seem to apply to vista, and I can't figure out how to install the second disc. Please help.

Also, the website they gave me is crap, I can't find anything about the installing process on it, it's too hard to navigate through the site. If anyone can find the answer on the site, I'd appreciate a direct link to the page.
