More Than 1 Webkins - How Does it Work?
My daughter has a webkins and I was thinking of getting her another one, but have a few questions that aren't answered on the webkins site or anywhere else online that I can find.
If she has more than 1 webkins, can she only play with one at a time? I know they are all registered under one account, but does she have to pick one and play with it, then pick another and tend to it, then pick another.........or are they all available at one time?
If so, can they play in any room or are they confined to their own room? If they can play anywhere, how many can be in a room at one time?
Thanks!
4 AnswersToys1 decade agoPay or Quit for Late Charges???
Can I send a pay or quit letter for late charges that have added up over the past few months even if the rent itself is current? (Right now they still owe for the current month's rent, but I'm hoping that is paid before I send a quit or pay notice, otherwise, I imagine they'll just avoid paying the late charges AND this month's rent. I don't want to jeopardize collecting July's rent.)
5 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoTenant Deducts Appliance Purchase from Rent?
I have a tenant who recently replaced a dishwasher in a rental house that I have and deducted the cost from his rent. This was not discussed with me prior to him doing it, nor was I even made aware of the need for it to be replaced.
Naturally, it was a high-dollar dishwasher - nicer than the one I have in my own home. Do I have any recourse? I could have replaced it myself with the same dishwasher (purchased elsewhere and installed myself, not $120 to have it done) for about half of what he paid for it.
7 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoProperty Insurance Claim - Payout Doesn't Even Come Close to Actual Repair Cost?
Do I have any recourse on a property claim when the insurance company sent out an adjustor and then simply mailed me a check? I have a $1000 deductible, and received a check (no papers signed on my part stating that I accept this as a settlement and I have not cashed the check). The insurance check is for $1400. Essentially they are saying the damage can be repaired for $2400. Well, I've had several companies estimate the damage and they range from $3700 to $4300. Does one have any recourse or must they accept what the insurance says they'll pay out and absorb the rest? I was always under the impression that your deductible is what you are "out" if you have a claim. But, looks like I'm "out" $2300, not just my $1000 deductible. I have contacted the insurance company and am now getting the run around of course. Nobody wants to take responsibility and nobody will return phone calls. TN Farm Bureau is the company - not some fly-by-night company, either.
5 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoLow Cost Prescriptions for Uninsured - ANY Legit Places?
Are there any truly legit ways to get prescription drugs for less than retail (not necessarily free). This would be for uninsured people with low incomes. But, incomes too high for government programs. Every program I've looked at has given me that "something isn't quite right about this" feeling.
4 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoConcrete work?
Rough guesstimate. How much to pour concrete for an area 12 feet by 15 feet? About 4" deep. Just the cost of the concrete and labor to pour it (truck coming in to do it, not mix up in a wheelbarrow and do it). Not including the cost to run the forms.
I know it's variable based on location, etc., but I don't have even the remotest idea of cost.
8 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoNeed a New Dishwasher - Want Opinions?
Well, I've finally had it with my barely 2-year old Frigidaire dishwasher that has had the timer replaced TWICE in 5 months and is now out again.
So, what kind of dishwasher do you have? Do you like it? How old is it? And, have you had to have it repaired?
I've heard horror stories on almost every brand, so I'm not sure if one is any better than the other. I do know, without a doubt, that I will NOT be buying another Frigidaire appliance. So, please, no suggestions to buy one of them.
I would love to hear from appliance repair people to find out what they are constantly having to service, and what brands are decent and which ones are not. I do know the last time I had my dishwasher fixed, I asked the repair guy what he would buy and his only response was "Not a ^&$%^ Frigidaire. I would never buy a Frigidaire appliance. 75% of what I work on is Frigidaire and I service all major brands."
4 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoIE 6.0 and Quick Tabs...?
How do I turn on the Quick Tabs option in IE 6.0? I ordered two computers - one for work, one for home. Identical model and options. But, the one I ordered form work has the quick tabs (and came with that option turned on). The one for home does not and I can't figure out how to turn it on.
Thanks!
3 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoMineral Makeup?
Is this stuff really any good? The older I get, the more blotchy my skin looks. I've not worn makeup in probably 20 years and am not a big fan of heavy makeup or an overly done-up look. I have seen the commercials for the mineral powder make-up and wonder if it is all they claim it to be. And, what brands are good and which ones aren't worth picking up for a buck at Walmart.
Thanks!
