Weather in Gran Canaria?
I am looking to go on holiday somewhere warm/hot in late April (around 23rd) for a couple of weeks and wondered if anyone knows the average weather at that time of year in Gran Canaria. I would be staying in the resort of Puerto Mogan?
Any other recommendations for warm/ hot destinations at that time of year would be good too

Hi
This is now the second time that I have been summoned (the first I asked for deferral). I am due to attend on Nov 1st and I have a holiday booked on Nov 20. Will this be ok as I have booked and paid for the holiday. Will they allow me to leave?

3 AnswersMobile Phones & Plans1 decade agoThai Airways Heathrow?
I'm flying economy from Heathrow to Bangkok with Thai. I understand I'll be on one of their old 747's with no seat back TV's but Thai has such a good reputation I chose them ahead of Eva. Has anyone flown this route with Thai - thoughts?
Also, I hear Thai offer you the opportunity to upgrade at the airport at a discounted rate... is this true?

3 AnswersOther - Health & Beauty1 decade agoMosquitoe bites - need help?
I am very prone to receiving mosquitoe bites when I'm on holiday. Occasionally I end up with rather large swelling, heat and redness. Its never done anything other than being unsightly and annoying however, I'd like to know if there is anything I can do to stop this happening. Along with a DEET based spray (what % of Deet should I go for) is there anything else I can do. I hear taking antihistamine tablets a few days before I travel may help?
I'm going to Thailand in March (Bangkok and Koh Lanta)!

I'm flying to Bangkok with Thai Airways and although I know they use the old 747-400's, I hear I may fly the newer a340 on my return leg (TG0910). Does anyone have any inside knowledge?
Good airline but the 747's out of Heathrow are pretty old now.

3 AnswersAir Travel1 decade agoFungal nail infection?
I've had this for more than five years... doctors gave me lamisol (?) pills for it at one point but it did nothing. The nail is very discoloured and thick now and after my new doctor took a clipping and sent to the hospital it came back clear. However, they said it has gone for further tests and would take two months to come back (?). what on earth are they looking for? why is it taking so long? what could it be and how will they treat it?
1 AnswerOther - Diseases1 decade agoBurning during urination???
38yr old male - For several days Ive been experiencing a burning sensation when urinating. I went to the GP who after using a dipstick on my urine sample said he could see nothing and has sent to the hospital for further diagnosis. I did have a slight backache and leg ache but yesterday this cleared up as did the painful toilet visits. i thought it had gone. However, this morning I woke and during the past three visits to the toilet it has burnt again (no back pain anymore though). The doc said if they get anything positive from the hospital they'll be in touch - otherwise if it still hurts in a couple fo days go back to see him. Ive not had any sexual contact so it isnt that... what could it be... I thought it had cleared up yesterday and now im getting nervous!? Please help
