Thinking about booking holiday to disneyland... anyone been as a child or with their children? Worth going? Go again??

Been at work all day come home to my neighbour telling me my alarm has been going off all day. stopping for 5 mins at a time. theres no heat or smoke so i dont know what to do as its still going off! Had them fitted 3yrs ago attached to mains and got back up batteries that cant be changed and have 10yr life on them. also if was battery it would just bleep not sound off properly. need this sorted or we wont get any sleep and next door wont be too pleased either

A girl at work lives in whats known statisticaly as better area to live... she always makes remarks on how where we work is in such deprived area however most of us live in the area including me and i like living here...

is the remarks ment to make her feel better or is she trying to make a point she is better then others? Or any other reason she may behave this way??

My friend has asked my advice on weather or not to tell her ex she still loves him(he is married now to someone else) the broke up a while ago 4yrs i think. i dont know what advice i should give. i would usualy say go for it see what happens. but she has achild with him so i dont know if its a good idea to rock the boat when theres a child to think of. what do you think? Tell her leave it be or go for it? He doesnt have anymore kids. his wife doesnt like the child he has.

I am single mam. i work part time. i love my kids and i am happy how things are. i dont want to be in a relationship but people seem to think i should be. My friends dont seem to hear me when i tell them i am happy being single. How things are at the min are fine and settled. i dont want to make time for anyone else. however what my friends dont know is even though all that is true i am also still very much in love with my ex so it wouldnt be fair even if i did meet someone.we split 4years ago so its not recent. i know we wont get back together which i have accepted. i just dont want anyone else and i like things as they are in my life. how can i get my friends to understand that being single is fine...

a few of us (girls) were sitting in the pub, my boyfriend and his friends came in for a drink, i had to leave and my friends stayed.(they had only just met the guys that day) then my friends left but one decided to stay with my boyfriend and his friends, remember she had never met them before this day, she stayed with them for several hours then went home...problem? the next day she came and told me that my boyfriend had been saying things about my children, which he denys and i have no reason to doubt him, but the only thing that is bothering me is the fact she stayed with them in the first place... she did not know any of them and she hung around them, then decided to spread a bit of gossip along the way.

i am a second yr student at college, doing a child care course, i am doing a research project on omega 3 fish oils, i wld be greateful 4 an parents with young children to tel me wot they no bout it. thanx...
