The other day after a shower my belly button ring just fell right out, straight through the middle there was no pain at all just shock because i didn't think that could happen. I got it done in june and from june to most of july it was looking fine the after my younger brother pulled on it things started changing. It was red and sore hurt a little, yucky crust and stuff started to form around it and i noticed it started to hang differently the top and bottom of the barbell looked bigger(holes) and it looked like the ring was coming out. I didn't know rejection or migration was something that could happen but now that it has what do i do to care for it especially if some of the skin on the top formed a very small keloid?

I got my belly button piercing June 6,2010 and have been cleaning it since then with dial soap. My mom used to have her belly button pierced but had to take it out because her skin started to form a keyloid (not sure if that is spelled correctly) around it. Knowing that might happen to me although i wasn't sure because its her not me i got it done any way. It started to have the normal symptoms of healing then a few weeks ago my baby brother pulled on it making it extremely sore and red around it it started to swell. Later there was crust around it and it was pink around it and felt as if there was a bump next to it. I still clean it but want to remove it i attempted to myself after cleaning it but the ball is impossible to remove ive been trying for a long time and it doesn't seem to be getting loose. Can someone please help? Do i see my regular doctor or go to a piercing place?
