The weather stripping still has some flexibility and sponginess but is just about done. I am looking for something to stretch out it's life for a few more years. does any one know of some way to bring back it's pliability

I have a paint gun that does not have a vacuum that pulls the paint from the cup what could be the problem? The gun is brand new and has been thoroughly cleaned. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. It has been used for about three weeks and now will not pull the paint or thinner from the cup.

I used to be a teacher and through ten years of teaching I noticed that parents are doing a lousy job of teaching their children the basic fundamentals of life patience,courtesy,discipline and manners.Parents who would rather be their children's friend and a cool parent rather than be a parent who is the authority figure and disciplines there child when wrong and sticks to the discipline.I have witnessed parents who say that they don't want their child to hate them.I know when I was a child that when my parents punished me I would say mean things to and about them but after I grew into adulthood and realized why my parents did what they did I am a better person for it.
