but when you can't afford a broken nose, how can you afford to fight?

  • so I need to grow 2 inches or more..?

see, despite being fluent in three languages, having good people skills, and being flexible to time changes, etc. some airlines only hire flight attendants with a minimum height of 5'5, and me being 5'3 feel, in good english, screwed.

so! here's my question, I'm 18 years old, my father is 6'2, and my mom is 5'2, i was a vegetarian for three years of my life (decision i greatly regret because i feel i didn't get enough protein to help me grow) but I still believe I can grow 2 more inches, with that said.. anyone have any dietary tips that would stimulate my body into growing taller? like "eat tons of red meat, with red meat salad, and red meat dessert". haha

seriously though.. .anyone on how I can be taller?

  • what consequences did the Battle of Bosworth Field have regarding the English renaissance?

I know the battle marked the end of the war of the roses, but I'm wondering what effect it had on the northern renaissance, specifically in England.

  • What Materazzi really told Zidane to provoke him was...?

a Brasilian TV station got people who are able to read lips to see what Mazeratti told Zidane before the headbutt, and what Materazzi really told Zidane was that his sister was a whore... that's it. So please stop this nonsense about him insulting Islam, or any religion..

What Materazzi did was wrong, but so was what Zidane did. So basically both where wrong, and there really is not "right" in said situation.

    the end.

  • Is Gigi Buffon truly the best GK in the world?

I'm getting kind of tired of people talking about the incident between Zidane and Materazzi, so let's change subjects..

Honestly, in my opinion Buffon's performance during this last match was a bit... disappointing. For being called the "best goal keeper in the world" wouldn't you think he could have AT LEAST caught one (just one) penalty shot?

    your thoughts...

  • I need some critique on my pictures?

So here is my problem: I have a VERY low quality digital camera (it has like 1 pixel... it's pretty sad, I know) and I've been thinking about maybe getting a new camera, with more pixels, but as you may know, this are usually rather expensive (and I'm not made out of money), and I'm not sure if my picture taking is "worth the splurge".

Here are some picture I have taken:

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/livinginabox...

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/livinginabox...

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/livinginabox...

I did go into them with photoshop, and put a coloured soft light, so that the colours would be as vibrant as the moment I took the picture, but those are all the alterations I made, which I probably wouldn't have to do if I had a better camera :(

So tell me what you think, good or bad, should I spend my money, or keep it. ;) all critiques are welcome.

  • Football terminology?

so... I'm sure this is probably a stupid question, but I hear the term "crack" being said when talking about a good football player, now I'm in the US where football is as popular as killing cows is in India, so I don't get most "common terms" that are relatively new (or maybe not so new?) in the game and the players, so could anyone just please tell me what the deuce a "crack" is and how it started? I'm guessing it's a term used in Spanish speaking countries because Rijkaard uses it when talking about some of his players in El Barca.
