I recently opened my 15 foot round above ground pool after the winter and was told to dump 10 liters of liquid shock into the pool and take a water sample to the pool store a few days later. I have brought the water sample in a few days later and was told that the levels are still too high and to come back again. I have went back again a few days after and still the same thing. When I use the home testing kit the pH level shows fine but the yellow die to test for chlorine levels turns orange so it appears like it is off of the chart! I am new to this pool stuff as we bought the house that has the pool but the pool store keeps on telling me to wait a few days and come on back. What am I doing wrong as I have been told by others that the pool store is clueless. What do I do to fix this?

Is it even worth calling Nissan Canada over? Do they have a code of conduct dealers must adhere to?

I live in Canada and have had a mastercard for 3 years now and a visa for 1 year. I am kind of fed up with the way Cap1 works and the fact that they still have a security deposit on hold which is actually less than 10% of what they have given me as a credit limit and are still charging me a $59 annual fee with a 17.9% interest rate. If I cancel the Cap1 card that I have had to rebuild my credit after bankruptcy that I have been discharged from since 2004 how will this effect my credit here in Canada?

Discharged from bankruptcy in Ontario, Canada in 2004. My Equifax Fico score is back up to 640 however all of the items included in my bankruptcy will fall off of my report next month so the only items I will be left with will be my bankruptcy showing with my discharge date in 2004 and my 2 active credit cards with R1 and no missed payments. Will this affect my score once these old items fall off my report?

I have a CapitalOne secured mastercard in Canada and nobody at CapitalOne outsourced customer service knows this answer. I have had the card in very good standing, never missed a payment for 3 years now. I was originally told after 3 yrs. it would be switched to a gold card now nobody knows anything about this.

Does anyone know the real answer... When will they unsecure my card? I have good credit with an unsecure visa card and a mortgage. Think its kinda funny that they are holding a less than 10% of what my credit limit is still as a deposit.

We bought a home in April to 2007 in Ontario, Canada and moved in June 2007. We recently had alot of wet spots on our basement floor and had our insurance company come out. They found that the previous owners had placed a thick rubber liner between the carpet and cement in a 15x15 ft. area where we are now aware that there is a water issue due to a foundation wall. This method of hiding this from us worked for them however we are now in a situation where there is some mold under the rubber they placed in the basement. In Ontario, Canada title insurance is almost mandatory when you by a home, does title insurance cover anything like this? If not, what other recourse do I have? Thanks for your help.

Me and my wife were married in early 2006 and seperated not even a year later in early 2007. We have been living at different addresses since than however she still uses her married name at work. Can we claim seperated even though we are not fully divorces yet on on Ontario, Canada income tax return for 2007? How does this work?

Hi, we have moved into an older home this past April. The furnace is a mid-efficiency model which is approx. 7 years old. The units ignitor makes a clicking noise which is to be expected when it is lighting however I have noticed that it clicks 2-3 sometimes even 4 times before it ignites. Is this normal? What could cause this and is there anything I could do to correct this if this is not normal?

I was on my way home and saw an RV in the oncoming traffic lanes of the Queenston Lewiston bridge and also saw a bunch of nice US Border officials and a whack of cop cars too. The RV kind of looked like it was making a run for the border but some cars stopped it but I am not sure what actually happened. I have looked online to see if I could find it on the news and have had no luck. Anyone out there know what actually happened? Thanks :)

I placed an order through Dell for a laptop and it is a gift. I did there payment plan and everything on the site was approved. Does Dell still call me to confirm this? As it is a gift I want to make sure I get the call. Also, how long does it take once I place the order online before I get a confirmation to give me a order number so I can track?
