  • How do you find out if the vacuum advance(on the distributor) is working on an 83 chevy, 350 motor?

The truck seemed to run fine then I shut it off. Maybe 20-30mins later I tried starting it again and it wouldn't start. This happened before to the prefious owner. I have gas and a good batt. ???

  • Need to find aftermarket front bumper?

My 330xi was just backed into and it needs a new front bumper skin. I remember looking at some part and accessory books from the BMW dealer but in the mean time I was wondering where the best place to find aftermarket bumpers would be? I know that there is a few different styles and I can't find them so far. Thanks

  • Can I swap 87 3.8 with a 88 3800? All Buick motors?

I have a good 88 3800(C) motor that I want to install in a car that has a bad 87 3.8(3) motor. I know they will bolt up but I was thinking just change the computer and some wiring(mainly the coil pack). When I took both computers out the 88 has an additional orange (2x16prong)plug on the computer. The only few differences between the cars is the 88 has a digital dash, digital gear indicator, digital (press button) heater controls and auto leveling. They are both ParkAve's. Would it hurt the computer if I tried it anyways without using the additional plug?

  • What are the differences in BMW models.?

I am looking for a newer(approx 2003) BMW. I have never had one and I don't know anyone that has one. I don't know the difference between models. I understand sedan, coupe, and convertable differences. I am also starting to understand the x or no x differences(all wheel drive or not). I would also like to know if there is anything I should be know as a first time buyer of BMW. Thanks.
