  • Anyone w/a 30 week Preemie?

I had a baby Tuesday night at 30 weeks, 4 days.

Just wanted to know of others' experiences in this field. So far, she's doing great! And she's so beautiful... I'm just stressed and feel very isolated sometimes...

Just wanted to hear from others who have been there.

  • What is the difference between red wine and white wine glasses?

I'm not a drinker, so I have no idea!

But, I do know that I have some white wine glasses that I'd like to sell... :)

  • I want a different car? But, I have issues... Help!?

I have poor credit and I bought a car 2 years ago with a high interest rate. I am currently upside down on the car and it has turned out to be a money sucker... (I had to have the transmission replaced at 59k miles, only about 10k miles after I bought it). We have a baby on the way and I'd like a more practical car with a lower payment. Any suggestions? I don't know if there is anything I can do, but I thought I'd ask in case someone has been in the same situation. Thanks!

  • I am so ACHY! Any suggestions?

I am 28 weeks pregnant, and I have had the perfect pregnancy! But, for the past 3 weeks or so, I feel like I have full-blown arthritis in my hands and feet. I can't make a fist or bend my toes much because I am so stiff and sore. And, I wake up several times every night with numb arms and hands.

Did any of you experience this? And, what did you do to alleviate the discomfort? The numbness is mostly at night (occasionally during the day) but my fingers and toes are still almost constantly.

  • Which name do you prefer?

I asked this last night when I had insomnia! But, I want a different crowd's opinion...

We're having a baby girl in November, and we've narrowed her name down to the following 2 choices:

    Eliza Renae

    or

    Kenley Renae

Which do you prefer? (Some of the other folks suggested changing the middle name or changing the spelling. No can do. It's a family name. Just FYI. I'm mostly wondering about the first names...)

    Thank you OH SO MUCH!

  • Help! What should I do???

I sold something to an acquaintance.

She wrote me a check, took possession and then canceled the check the next morning. She told me that what I had sold her is broken (its not) and that she was going to bring it back to me. That was yesterday morning.

Since then, she has contacted me (by text) and was very hostile and nasty, but she has not returned the item...

What should I do? As some background, this person is very shady and has very little integrity. I shouldn't have done business with her in the first place (my bad) but now I need to fix this... I need suggestions...

  • Should I complain?

Okay. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and went for an ultrasound today. As the tech sat me down, she explained that I was much too early for the 'fetal survey' and she was going to have to reschedule me. I spoke with both my Dr and his nurse last Friday and they both recommended I keep my US appointment today so I could find out the sex of my baby.

When I explained this to the tech (who says that she has worked in this particular clinic for 15 years), she acted very put out, but went ahead with the ultrasound for the sole purpose of finding out sex.

At first, baby's legs were crossed. I made a comment about a book I read that said if this happens, sometimes the mother can drink something cold or walk around and baby will start to move. The tech responded, "I don't know what your little books say, but sometimes, you just don't get what you want."

(ran out of space... will continue below...)

  • Heartrate question for all you pregnant folk!?

For those of you who are either pregnant or parents, did the wives' tale hold true for you?

I had an ultrasound yesterday, and my baby's heartrate was 167 BPM... I'm just wondering what your baby's heartrate was and what the sex of your baby was...

    Thanks!

  • Vacation w/newborn ideas...?

My husband and I have 2 free plane tickets that we need to use by next March... and we're due to have our first baby in November... So, we're thinking we'd like to go somewhere in February. The question is: What would be a good vacation for a couple with a newborn? Any suggestions? We thought about trying to talk the entire family into going to Disneyworld, but it doesn't seem like that is going to work out... Let me know what you think!

    Thanks!

  • How do I get my cat to stop attacking my other cats?

We have 2 cats who are almost 3 (from the same litter, brother and sister) and last year we got a kitten. We've had him over a year now and all spayed or neutered. Why does the younger cat CONSTANTLY attack the older 2. When they're doing nothing.... He's such a brat! I don't know what to do anymore. This morning, I ended up putting him the garage by himself because he wouldn't leave the other two alone... And, I'm pregnant, so I'm worried about how he'll act around our baby when he/she comes...

Any suggestions for how I can get him to calm down???

    Thanks!!!

  • Dentists, please help! I'm a hygienist with a question...?

I'm a dental hygienist. We have a patient in our office who is a teenager, but has the mental capacity of a 3 year old. He has a severe underbite, and because of it has ground down all of his mandibular anterior teeth. Our doctor placed crowns, and the patient has repeatedly broken them off. She (the dr) recently re-placed the crowns, and the pt has since RIPPED them off and flushed them down the toilet.

What would you do? We're at a loss. The crowns aren't working for him... The family doesn't have a lot of money, so ortho and surgery are not an option... What are your suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help...

(Also, are there any other websites for questions like this that are not Yahoo Answers? Maybe this question would be better suited for a dental site...)

What computer program would I buy to do this?

  • Anyone know this song? (New remake of older song... now sung by a guy with a high voice...)?

I heard a song today on the speakers at Dillard's while I was shopping, and I loved it... but I've already forgotten what it was!

Can anyone think of what it might be?

It is a very familiar love song, but it's sung a little differently and this guy has a pretty high falsetto type voice...

    Any suggestions?????

    Thanks!

  • Miscarriage question?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant (tomorrow) and I woke up this morning and have been bleeding. It was heavy for about 5 minutes, and the rest of the time its been very light. I am a little achy in my abdomen, but not crampy. I spoke with the on call OB/GYN from the office where I'm a patient, and she told me to rest (which I have been doing all day... in fact, when I'm lying down, the bleeding is very minimal, but when I go to the bathroom, I have a little blood)

Has anyone had an experience like this that has turned out OK? This is my first pregnancy, and I'm terrified of miscarriage! Any advice, experiences would be appreciated!
