I'm a former airline ticket/gate agent, and will be happy to help with any questions you may have. However it always amazes me that people prefer to post questions on Yahoo Answers, rather than Googling or researching for yourself. Don't always trust the answers you are given on here, because most people who answer you are not educated expertly on the topic, and are merely giving suggestions and personal experience examples. I answer questions that are Air Travel related mostly, however do not use any advice or information you are given on this website as a final reasoning for anything you ask. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check with the particular airline for their rules and stipulations. It's still in the works, but check out my blog: http://jetfuelandhotels.blogspot.com/

  • How do you store info on a TI-84 Plus?

I remember in high school when we had the TI-82 you could store information in the calculator. In HS we would store the equations in our calculators and refer to them during tests. i cant for the life of me remember how to do it now. Does anyone know where I can enter some of the formulas into the calc. and be able to retrieve it later?

    Thanks!!

  • Does the Hydrofoil still cross the English Channel as a passenger ferry?

Im booking a trip to Europe and was wondering if the Hydrofoil is still in use. Ive tried to search for myself, but cant seem to find any transportation website that lead me to it. Ive found the obvious, ferries, chunnel and planes, but I was curious if they still run the Hydrofoil.

Also, we're looking at flying from the US to London Gatwick, then getting over to Amsterdam, Brussels and end in Paris. I've seen cheap flights inter-Europe to Prague as well as Rome. Im booking 14 days hoping that will be enough to see what I can. Also if anyone could recommend decent hotels, not cheap roach motels but not expensive ones either. Any European travel site recommendations will be welcome as well. I know all the American ones, so dont suggest Travelocity, Orbitz, Priceline, Hotwire or any others.

I worked for an airline in the US, so I know how to get around that, just need hotel suggestions and other forms of transportation within Europe.

    Thanks!

  • US Air's Hostile take over of Delta?

As a former Delta Employee and Atlanta native, I DO NOT want to see this happen. Anyone else out there agree??

And for the naysayers.....if US Air does take over Delta, tens of thousands of people would lose their jobs, Atlanta's economy would collapse as we know it, they would take the Headquarters and move it elsewhere and lay off the masses.

There have been talks before of mergers and take overs, I hope and pray Delta will stay strong and stay AWAY from Us Scare.

Just wondering the thougts of other employee's, passengers, shareholders and those Frequent Flyers, especially medallions.

  • Thinking about getting a Blackberry?

I do the back office work for a small company and work out of my home for a friend of mine. Recently we agreed that I would start to do the marketing and appointment scheduling for him so that he can focus on the actual work/labor of the business. He wanted me to look at phones and I saw our provider has a free Blackberry. So, I was wondering if other Blackberry addicts think its worth having for a small business to coordinate someones agenda, keeping up with client scheduling and e-mails. I've seen how addictive they are, I can hardly get away from my laptop. Is it worth the money to have one for a small business who is growing?? Would you let your personal assistant have one to keep organized for your business????

  • Flying with a 3 month old...?

My daughter will be 3 months old when we fly out to Las Vegas next month. I worked for an airline, so I know the whole...have them drink from a bottle during take off and landing and the possiblity of a perferated ear drum. BUT, Id like to hear from people who have flown with their infant if you had any luck flying with them at such an early age. I have the usual fear that she will be the screaming baby the entire 4 hrs, and I asked the pediatrician if there is anything I can give her, like benedryl..and at 3 months, there isnt. So any words of advice would be great.

  • Breastfeeding suggestions...?

Im not getting much support from my mom or sisters on breast feeding. I had a hard time adjusting at first and they all kept telling me to just give up and give my baby a bottle. Ive gone through 6 formula's and have yet to find one that doesnt make her scream or have acid reflux or bad gas. I finally get adjusted to breastfeeding and they all swear its my milk that is causing her discomfort. Id feed her for 30-45 min and she'd still act hungry and would scream if I tried to giver her a pacifier, so id just give her a bottle. That and Im having a hard time finding a nursing bra to fit DD's. I havnt breastfed consistantly in the last week and I still want to try, but I dont want the going back and forth to upset her system. Im really distraught and wondered if there were any other new moms that had any suggestions or stories similar. I know about Le Leche league and thought about going there too, but other advise from moms would be greatly appreciated

  • Are you looking for CHEAP Airline tickets???

Ok...here's the deal. Everyone seems to ask the same question 10,000 times...so here is the answer.

You can start with the travel websites to compare and see what the airlines are offering. ALWAYS go directly to the airlines website to compare. Usually you can find better deals and avoid booking fee's. Also you will have a better choice of schedules and connections as well as non-stop flights.

BEWARE of websites that advertise cheap or discounted fares. These are potential traps. These websites have restrictions on their tickets above what the airlines are. They are not changable for any reason and if there is a problem the airline will not touch them. Air travel is cheaper than ever and barely pays the cost to fuel the plane in the gate. So...quit asking where to find it and go look yourself. Find the airports website to see what airlines service the city you are departing from. Not all airlines use these travel sites like Southwest and Jet Blue for example.

  • Breast pump recommendations?

What is important to look for when purchasing a breast pump. Was also curious about brand recommendations anyone may have. Are the more expensive ones the better ones and worth the investment?

  • Star Jones and the View......?

Does anyone else think she looks sedated? Ever since she lost weight...we all know it was surgery....she just looks like she is constantly high. Her eyes are droopy and she is slow. Its as if Anna Nicole gave her whatever she was on when she was bigger.

I feel that she is way too proud of herself and is always ready to flash the boulder of a ring she has. I never really cared for her personally, but it seems especially after the surgery she's not the person she once was. I love Rosie O, but i dunno if she will be a good match for the View. I loved her show and it should have been picked up by a more liberal network. Ellen's show is very successful and everyone loves her gay or not. I just think there will be some hard feelings towards Rosie from the other ladies. And I dont see Rosie O pimpin out the latest fashion trends for the fall. Joy is the Comic relieft, i think there will be some rough waters for the show.

  • Which name do you like better????

    Kora Sydney or Lydia Willow

    Last name is Spain.

Im a single soon to be mom. Kora is aboriginese for "Companion" and I have a love for Australia, my grandmother and dad are from New Zealand. I had plans to move to Sydney this year about the time the baby is due, but that all changed. (Im American by the way)

The second one Ive had picked out for years, but Kora seems more sentimental and meaningful.

I still dont know what it is, and the only name Ive come up with is Brandon James. I dont want either name to be generic, Id like something that not every kid will have, but Brandon has stuck with me for a while. Only thing is the initials are BJS and I dont want him to grow up being called BJ's or made fun of.

    Any suggestions are welcome.
