"hal-muh-nee" - pronounced hal muh (mu- as in mu-d,) nee (as in knee)
The best gifts for a grandmother-to-be is always regarding her grandchild. That brings the most joy for the upcoming grandma. It can be anything from a baby carriage to crib or any other baby stuff, but nothing brings more happiness to a grandma then seeing her children's offspring for the first time.
Make sure that it stays that way.

I'm not Korean, but I lived in Korea for 5 years.
"Grandmother" is "halmoni" in Korean.
What would be a good gift for a first-time grandmother? Hmmm... Maybe some beautiful picture frames that she could put pictures of the baby in?
