Every year when we unpack last years Christmas lights, only about 1/3 of them work. Does that happen to everybody? What do you do? Do you throw them out and buy new ones or do you fix them? What is the quickest and easiest way to fix Christmas lights? How long are they supposed to last anyway???

My Dachshund Izzy was in heat when she was 7 months old last September. Her vulva became small like it used to be but her nipples are still big. Is that normal? We don't want to have her spayed because we want her to have puppies just once ...

... I have a whole house with wooden floors which are in need of refinishing. I am about to start in one room and want to work on my own pace with a hand sander ( mouse) rather than being under time pressure with a rented foor sander. Can anyone tell me if they have ever used a hand sander for this job? How long did it take you and how were the results?

How far do I have to sand before I can put the polyyurathen on? Thanks for any advice!

I am trying to put my computer back together after having some work done on it. When I hook it all up and try to start it the monitor display light comes on in green but switches to orange while the screen stays black.

What is the problem? Any suggestions? I tried another monitor .. the same problem ...

My son has a light skoleosis which sometimes causes him back pain, but basically he is fine and you can barely see it. Now he is trying to join the army and we wonder if they will take him.

Whenever I move my right arm, especially for lifting, I feel a pain under my right breast.It has been going on for at least a month and is becoming stronger. I cannot feel a lump and the breast is not enlarged. I have been having my yearly mammograms which always came out fine, although I think the area I am feeling the pain would not show on a mammogram.

My beautiful honeysuckle bush has black spots all over the blooms, which are probably tiny bugs. I sprayed a bug killer, but so far it has not helped. Is there something specific that I can use to save the bush?

It happens almost daily since we started running the air conditioner a few weeks ago. We did not have this problem with our old water heater. For about 2 months I have been suffering from an ear ache on both sides, but there is no draiage from the ears. Sometimes it causes light head aches as well. The last time I went to the doctor he said it could be allergies (which I had never suffered from before) I took some pills he gave me, finished them, but am not sure if they worked. The aches never stopped completely. Now after I am done with the medication the pain becames more intense. Has anyone had this problem?

The ice builds under the bottom tray in the freezer. It melts slowly and drips into the fridge, where it collects on the bottom and finally runs over the floor. What do I need to do to stop this??
