What would be the possible causes for a 5-Speed Mazda Protege to slightly jerk when shifting gears?
The problem started about the same time the check engine light came on, and it seems to be getting worse.
I've heard a couple of suggestions like I need to change the spark plugs, or try use a gasoline treatment, etc...
I would really appreciate any suggestions, because I can't really afford to take the car in to an automotive repair center.

14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoShould I continue with the new hire process?
In June 2006, I took an electronics test for an install technician position with a telecommunications company. I past the test & was invited back for a customer service interview; past that too. I was told I would progress on to the next phase, which should be the physical fitness portion of testing, and to expect a call in approx 30 to 45 days. I never heard from them and figured they must have filled the positions.
This week I received a letter from them which had documentation for me to fill out, so they could investigate my background. I find this kind of strange. And for some reason, I feel hesitant on sending in the requested forms.
Does this sound odd to anybody else, or am I just being ridiculus?
Has this ever happened to anybody else?
What should I do?

If people are never exposed to the "freedom of choice," it will be a difficult process for them to overcome the fear that is normally associated with change.
Having the ability to change, as the need arises, is fundamental for one to achieve success.
I feel the issues that are causing many conflicts in the world today, can ultimately be eliminated if we add new approaches to our methods of resolution.
What are your thoughts on the matter?

8 AnswersSociology1 decade agoDo you think it is feasible for a 36 year old woman, to join the military or police force?
I have been thinking about becoming a police officer, or joining the military, almost to the point of obsession but I don't know if I have what it takes.
I stopped by a police department, and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to speak with the Captain of the Police Department, who was kind enough to give me an hour or more of her time.
I bombarded her with questions about a variety of aspects, but mostly about my bad credit history possibly affecting my ability to join law enforcement.
She confirmed that my fears were well-founded, because they look at your credit history as a deciding factor on your ability to be responsible, etc.. So that's not looking real optimistic for me.
Also, several months ago I tried signing up for Navy Reserves, but have not hear back from them yet. The cut off age is 37 years old, which is less than a month away for me.
Should I give up this dream, or does anyone have any words of advice to help me achieve my goal?
