I am going to join to serve my country, but I also like the pay, but I was curious.

How do the allowances work exactly, do you receve cash, or like say for Basic Housing Allowance do you get some kind of card or check book you can only use on your rent payment. Now that this is my biggest concern before joining, I just want to know how they work. Thanks for the help folks!

OK, so I saw this the other day, and I overall I liked it, if I had to rate it I would say 4 out of 5, but what I did think a few times while watching it was, why do we always depict extra terrestrials as animals, like insects? Guess it makes them easier to kill:)

Oh and did anyone else notice that in the trailer there was a scene of an alien being interrogated by someone in a dark room, asking about how their weapons work, when that never even happens in the movie.

I have heard Joe Rogan and Lyota Machida both admit to drinking their own urine, I am curious what the benefit of doing this is.

I have taken prescription medications for anxiety within the last year, but I don't want to wait another year to join the military, is there anyway I could just say that I haven't and still join without a problem?

I am currently on medication for a back injury, an opiate which could possibly show up on a drug test. I have heard that if I have not been off medication for 12 months before joining the Air Force that I will not be eligible. Would it be possible to join sooner without them being able to know I have been on the medication, or will they some how be able to find out?

I assume all my information with my doctor is private unless I want to release it, so, say I am perfectly healthy and just don't mention that I have been on medication, should I be able to join no problem?

I do not yet have my college degree, but I am anxious to do some traveling and working in my life. Getting a college degree is WAY down the road in my future, so I am looking to join a volunteer program just like the Peace Corp but do not require you to have a college degree or 10 years experience in a particular field. (No I am not joining the military)

My mother travels a LOT and I I worry about her all the time. She has a good cell phone but sometimes I wonder if it will always be reliable, so I am looking for a company who makes special cell phones that have a huge power charge and/or the ability to call 911 and nothing else, and is only used for emergency situation, does this kind of phone exist?

I have always liked the Ruger 10/22 but have never owned one. These days with money being tight I don't really have the ability to go out and blow 250 on one, but I noticed the Remington 597s are very similar, and a little bit cheaper. Would you folks out there suggest I just wait till I can save up for Ruger 10/22 or is the Remington 597 not a bad buy?

Ok, I have smoked cannabis almost everyday for the past couple years and just recently quit about a little over 2 weeks ago. I don't plan on sparking up again because I am going to have to take a test for a second job I am applying for. My question is, how do I amke sure I am going to pass this test, because I know it can take up to 2 months to get it out of your system. Please don't tell me to drink water and exercise I already know that helps, so I need other remedies that have worked for you or you know will work, thank you so much!

Please don't give me a lecture about smoking, I already know it's bad for you. I really like these American Spirit cigarettes because there are no additives and all that, but they are outrageously expensive, so I was wondering if there are any kind like it but cheaper. Thanks!

I keep having ideas for all kinds of things from advertising presentations, to book or film ideas, and I have always wanted to try and present them to an investment company, but I am worried about them turning me down, but then turning around and using the idea for themselves. I am only 23 years old but suffer from back pain everyday from a previous injury. I have a seen my family doctor a few times but the medication they prescribe does not help, and trying to explain that only makes the situation worse, so I just don't know what else to do.

I am starting to get more involved in talk radio, yet my car refuses to pick up ANY AM stations, can I pick up a cheap shortwave radio from radio shack and be able to get all the stations I want around the country, or does spending more money somehow help when it comes to picking up the stations that I wanna hear?

Ok, so i've noticed over the past couple years that every now and then a few seconds before I get a call on my cell phone, I will know it's either going to ring, and/or who is calling. And when this happens it is a very strange feeling like I have the thought, but I dont really remember having any control over the thought, it's just a thought that kind of, forced it's way into my mind so to speak. I am not saying that i'm psychic but I have found it very interesting, and was wondering if maybe this is happening to other people as well.
