  • Sending Lortabs through the mail?

I usually leave 20 lortab 7.5's with a friend 200 miles away so that I do not use them all too fast and run out before refill. I have a valid rx for this drug and the pills are mine. Is it illegal for her to mail them to me at that time?

  • what is the safety margain for umbilical hernia operation?

I had an emergency umbilical hernia operation on Saturday night at 1am just a little over 4 days ago. They were unable to utilize the 'mesh' method due to the size of the actual hernia and ended up sewing the abdominal muscle together with some stitches that are meant to NEVER disolve and stay there forever. Also, the entry was too large for stitches due to its location over my belly button and the fact that I carry too much weight on my belly. So much is supported 'below' the incision site that I constantly worry I am going to pop something. I was just wondering 'for all you doctors and surgeons out there as well as the people who've had similar experiences. When can I stop being so paranoid that something willl go wrong as long as I follow doctors orders? And I do intend on following them. How many days would you say to be a 'safe' interval before I can stop worrying and just let things heal?
