I am reading about a man accused of multiple counts of sex offenses and abuse of a child. The newspaper gave samples of what he is charged with. I know this man, he has been near my kids, I want to understand what he has been charged with. Thanks

Is the Media Manager software what I need and how much video can you actually put on a data card? I mean, you can't write to the disks it uses, right?

When I check my blood presure it is consistanly about 28 points higher in my right arm than my left. Has anyone else heard of this and what might be the causes?

Any of you who may have bought microscopes for your homeschool kids, what was the price range you paid, features you looked for and what did you use it for? I was a veterinary pathologist so when I look at one I am looking for way more than my kids need. Thanks for the advice. Oh, any good sites to shop?

Would any of you like to share favorite online learning sites, both paid and free. I've found a few that are awesome and figure there must be more. Some of these sites even keep track of the kids progress in subjects and you can print out the reports. I love it! Thanks in advance.

I have three young teen boys who are interested in making some money. They thought about an online yard sale type idea. The oldest is only 11. What would the legalities about such an idea be? Thanks

I found a baby snake just outside my garage. He is stuck on a bandaid and I'm not sure how to help him free himself. I would like to help him and set him free. I put him in a glass container with some rocks to rub against....should I put anything in there for him to eat until I can help???? Thanks

I have a wonderful little great nephew. We recently took care of him for two weeks. During that time I realized how neglected he has been since birth. I live in another state so didn't have firsthand information about him. When I picked him up to take him away he didn't even say goodbye to anyone, (and he had only met me and my guys once before). When we got him he would eat off the ground, and didn't get the idea of eating regular meals. He had never had a bedtime, (or a bed for that matter, his folks drift from friends places to friends places) The daddy is getting ready to go to rehab and the mommy is pregnant again. After only one day of having him home they called the grandad, my brother, and said they needed him to come and take care of him because it just wasnt' working for them to keep him. My brother is older, has health problems and takes care of my mother. He would fit right in my family but his folks aren't great on the idea. Even though they only see him.....

I have three boys who are very money minded, they are young, all under 12. Recently they came up with the idea of selling some of their things online. Do they have to claim what they make? Or do their dad and I need to claim it as income? I think they have a good idea, but I want to keep it legal.

Just wondering if any of you have any creative ideas for getting the kids involved in keeping the house in order while homeschooling. I am teaching 4, a 5th grader, two 4th, and a K. I have a really big house and my mother in law and mother also live with us! I need help!!! Any idea are appreciated. Thanks

I have all boys and my oldest is 11. I notice, even with the 8 year old, they are getting really stinky! Isn't this sort of early. I am noticing more coarse hair on the legs on the oldest two. Even the attidudes are changing.....they never went through the terrible twos, now it seems they are. Anyone else have this with their kids at this age or should I be concerned? Thanks

I've been offered an xbox for sale $225, complete with 2 controlers, two extra wireless controlers, 13 games. Just want to make sure getting the xbox was OK with xbox 360 being out? Are games compatible? Sorry, but I am trying to suprise my kids and I am a video game moron! :-)

I have a friend, a single mom with multiple kids. It seems to me, and my 11 year old has even noticed, that she has it pretty good, while his dad is working two jobs to allow up to do things. Because she is lower income, (and she has a colledge degree, just won't change jobs becasue she doesn't want to work any weekends), her kids get to go to YMCA camp each week for the full summer, she recieves food assistance, rent assistance, even clothes for the kids for free. If I were to try and send my kids to Y camp each week it would be about 340 a week for the three of them! But since she chooses not to work more, it is free for her. I think this sucks. Is anyone with me? It is like she gets rewarded for not working. (And the med assisting degree was free also thanks to the government.)

It seems like often when I take my kids to church they come home with one or two head lice. ( I comb them when we get home to check becuase I am paranoid about it after going through it once.) If I miss something their grandma gets them and she has alzheimers, lives with us, and how do I check her. (home health care nurses come in a few times a week for to help her bathe) Someone told me something about coal tar shampoo will repel them but I'm not sure. Any guesses?
