The other day, I found a red beheaded rooster under my husbands van. It was parked right outside our front door. I know we did not hit it. It was beheaded, and drained of blood. The feet were sticking out from under the van, appearing to have been "tossed" under it. There was no pool of blood, and it still had all the feathers attached. Someone mentioned to me that it might be some kind of brujeria or santeria?

It was a fairly large rooster, so I do not think that the feral cats in the neighborhood could drag it under the van without leaving a mess.

We have dogs, and they would have "seen" or heard anyone/anything on our property and would have alerted us.

Any ideas on what this means? The purpose?

Got a bit behind in a communications class, and need a little assistance writing a letter.

My husband and I want a new game to play. We want a 2 player co-op (not battle against each other). We have played Resident Evil 4, and RE Darkside chrons. as well as House of the Dead 2&3 and have enjoyed those. We tried Dead space, but that we hated. We like shooter, rail shooter and co-op play. I have a fairly new friend, *Amy* that I invited to my wedding, which is fast approaching. A long-time friend *Sue* is hosting the wedding at her house, and told me that she did not want *Amy* at her house, and that if she showed up, the wedding is off. Now *Sue* loves everybody, and has never disliked anyone, til now. *Amy* apparently has made some bad choices involving drugs and running around with other womens husbands/boyfriends. I hate having to do this, but for the wedding to go on, I have no other choice. Help!

I am in the process of planning my wedding, Nov 1 2008. We had plans for a DJ/KJ but he backed out. Now I am stuck with no music and *very* little cash. I am paying for everything myself and have a limited income. I am in need of a DJ who can play a variety of music..... any suggestions??

My boss has made some changes in our policies at work, and I don't exactly agree with them. I work in a hotel and we do, on ocassion get a cash paying guest. When this happens my boss wants me to get a $50 cash deposit, or if they "look" a certain way, or have a local address to get a $100 cash deposit. Guests are getting MAD b/c "other" hotels don't ask for this. Then there are other things: I am suppossed to quote the guest the special event rate for their hotel room (which is 10-15 % more than the standard hotel rate) Then if they ask for a discount AAA/AARP/ Military etc then I quote them the standard rate. I feel that practice is dishonest.

Another new policy, If a guest damages property or steals something..... it comes out of our paycheck if the guest doesn't pay for it. Or if i discount a room w/o authorization, it comes out of my paycheck.

There is a lot more.

We live in a mobile home, in a neighborhood with other mobile homes. I have no idea where to go. No one around here has a storm shelter. The only thing i can think of is the post office, or the hospital. ????

I started a new job in June and work during the time that Days is on. I haven't been able to record it (thats a long story for another day) I have a tv at work, but rarely get a chance to see more than just a few min of any one episode. Other than not knowing what the heck is going on, I have noticed that it is now coming on at 2pm instead of at noon. When did this happen? Any ideas as to why?

Ok, I was told that this Friday is a bank holiday (Good Friday). I get paid that Friday, and if the banks are going to be closed, will the check cashing places be open? I am going out of town that morning, and really need to cash my payroll check. My place of work does not have direct deposit, as it is a family owned business, and they print out their own checks on site. Any suggestions?

I have heard about Brazos Port for beach combing/ sea shell hunting. Not very familiar with that area..... was wondering if there is a cool beach near Rockport/Fulton for beachcombing? Does not have to be touristy or have a lot of attractions in the area. Just want to find some cool "sea treasures" while bumming around the beach next weekend. Thanks in advance! :-)

I will be going to Rockport/ Fulton Tx in a few weeks, and I am looking for things to do. I have already checked the Chamber of Commerse web site. One thing of intrest with the group I am traveling with is beachcombing. Any really good places for sea shell hunting in the area? Or a really good sea food restaurant? Or a cool bar? I am starting a new job and am interested/ looking for a carpool in the area (Georgetown tx) I have tried several different carpool websites and have yet to find anything. Anyone interested? Or know of a local carpool service and/ or public transportation? I frequently see CARTS busses going to the grocery stores, shopping centers and library.... but cannot seem to find any info on them. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!

I recently became interested in painting in watercolor after seeing some amazing paintings of sailboats using that medium. I have the paint, artist tape, friskit, brushes and paper. Basicly, I would really like a few tips from other watercolor artists about how you started, techniques, and hints/ tricks that work for you. Anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
