  • Is soy milk really okay?

Okay, we have been trying to introduce mik to our son who turned 1 on the 1st. He will not drink it in a cup or bottle, so I went and bought soy milk and he will drink it just fine. I bought the Silk brand with DHA added. Is it okay to just stick with soy milk?

  • Does anyone know where to buy.......?

I saw in a catalog one day this cuppie carrier that attatched a cup to stroller so that baby can not throw it on the ground. I can not remember what it is called or where to buy it. Do you know where I can find one? My son is at the "throw it on the floor" stage.

  • Husband walking around in underwear and t-shirt?

If you have girls, and your hubbie walks around the house with just tighty whiteys and his t-shirt, what age should the girls be when he needs to stop. My hubby see nothing wrong with this, I however think it isn't appropriate pass a certain age. So what do you all think? Age?

  • Anyone have the Evenflo Exersaucer?

We have the 3 stage one, put out last year. Today we changed from the exersaucer to the play table. Problem is that it is extreme unstable. The first time my son pulled on one of the toys it started to topple over. We were holding on to him so he didn't fall.

Question: Is there a way to make it more stable, or is this a problem with the toy.

    Here is a picture of it;

  • Have any of you moms tried the new Chlorox Green Products?

So I was at Wal-Mart today and I saw a new line of cleaning products from Clorox. The are called Green Works, and claim to clean as good as regular products. So has anyone tried them and do they work the same. Like can they still get KoolAid off of counter tops?

    Thanks!

  • Does anyone else's baby love this?

My son who is 10 mos old loves to be upside down. He has done this for like three months now. He will sit on your lap and lean and push back till you let him go backwards. A stranger saw me do this and told me it was bad for him!

  • Am I wrong for thinking this way?

I have these ill feeling towards my MIL. She thinks she knows more than me. Tells me how to raise my son, what I am doing wrong. Well, she never paid much attention to my two girls from a previous marriage, and never pays much attention to her step-daughter 2 y.o. But ever since my son was born, she thinks she must come over here and hours drive like two times a week. It is driving me crazy. My son will cry and she refuses to give him back to me. She will walk away swinging him in arms even though he is hysterically crying. So I have to force her to give me my child back! Am I wrong for feeling resentment towards her. Also, she treats my husband 100 times better than his sister, or her husband! If I say something she just keeps at me till I am almost in tears sometimes.

  • What would cause this?

My 6 year old daughter was sick two weeks ago with a stomach bug. She was running a fever and vomiting. She was sick for two days with this. Well since then every two or three days she starts running fever for about 12 hours. I have taken her to the doctor and he says "just a virus"

Has anyone gone through this or have any ideas on what to do?

  • Which doctor? I asked this in Health and got no answers!?

I believe my daughter who is 9 may be suffering from Acid Reflux. She keeps saying her throat burns but when I ask her where she points at the bottom part of her throat. Should I go to a pediatrician or make her an appt with an ENT doc. I have good insurance, and don't need a referral to see an ENT.

  • Bleeding during pregnancy?

Heres the deal, my sis in law is 12 weeks as of Friday. Two weeks ago she started bleeding, she said when she stood up it was like she was peeing her pants. Lots of bright red blood. She went to the ER and they were a bunch jack a**es they just said oh well you may miscarry you may not. They did nothing else for her. Well she had a ultrasound on Fri. The baby looked completely normal, all toes and fingers, they said no problems. Then Fri night the bleeding thing happend again.

I am trying to comfort her and help with advice, but I have never been in this situation. My preg. were pretty run of the mill. Question: Has this happened and everything turned out okay for anyone, and does anyone know or think what this could be?

She called the doctor again and they just wait and see what happens. I am trying to convince my brother that she needs a better doctor. So they can do some further testing. But since the doc says she is "fine" they are thinking that way.

  • About formula?

I got my coupons today from the Nestle Goodstart today and they for the stage 2 formula. The one for babies 9 mos and up. Is it a good a idea to change to this or just stick to the regular formula? This particular formula has more iron and calcium than the regular formula.

  • Has anyone used Little Tikes diapers?

I saw these a few months ago in our local supermarket, and today I decided to buy the small pack just to see how they compare. I like the fact that they are stretchier than the huggies, and they actually seem to fit better. My son is currently in the size 4. Has anyone used them? Good or Bad?

  • Cleaning Baby's toys?

My son is getting over Croup, and now has Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease, what is the best way to properly clean all his toys? I thought about a little bleach with water for the hard toys, but what about the soft ones?

I have no idea how he got the later illness. He has been nowhere in a week, and in no contact with anyone except his sisters and my husband and I. The Dr thinks he may have got it during his trip to the ER.

  • How do I go about this talk with my daughters?

Okay, my ex left me and my two girls 6 years ago. They are now 9 and 6. Today my oldest told my youngest that I used to married and told her his name. Then she proceeded to tell her that he was a bad person. Now my youngest thought she was lying and I told her that yes I had been married before. She is a little confused! My oldest has always had problems dealing with men, she pushes them away and tries not to get close, even with my current husband (been married 3 1/2 yrs). I am kind of at a loss for words on how to explain this the right way.

Our separation was sudden, he came in the middle of the night, took our car and left us. He had fallen in love with some one else while in military training 4 states away, and got her pregnant. My kids have never seen him since.

    What do I do?
