I don't want to sound crazy or anything. I get weird odd cravings for blood all the time. I don't know what it is but the smell and taste (beef blood) just gets me going. I love it. My body craves for it. I was anemic for most of my life and I got that under control but I crave for blood a lot. I don't know if it is linked to a medical condition or what. I don't think I'm crazy my kids call me vampire lady.

I have a lung infection. Its a long weekend my doc is away. Does anyone know if it is ok to take cefprozil and atenol together.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 4 years ago. I am wondering if it is the wrong diagnosis. When I was first diagnosed I would have periods of pain and the periods of no pain. In the past 1 year I have not had a day without excruciating pain. I sleep maybe (if I'm lucky ) 4 hours a week. For the past 3 months my arms have been doing something weird. It is like my whole arm and legs goes in to a spasm but it is so painful and when it tightens up I cannot move my arm and after the spasm is done ( can last up to 3 hours) My arms are so weak I can't move them. Or they just stop working and I can't walk or I end up pouring a hole kettle of water on myself cuz my arms stop working My other symptoms are:

Wide spread pain

Insomnia

Irritable bowel

red swollen joints

extreme fatigue

High white blood count

Low magnesium

High blood pressure

Eczema

Hyperthyroid

There are more but as my memory is kinda messed to I can't think of them right now. Should I go for a second opinion

My cat just died last night and I don't understand what happened. She was fine. She had a litter of kittens 2 months ago they were all healthy. She nursed them all and then about 5 weeks after the kittens were born I noticed she was throwing up a bit and starting to loose weight. I took her to the vet and they ran tests, ultrasound, xray. Everything came back normal. They sent her home. Yesterday around 9pm I noticed she was bleeding really bad from her rectum and I mean it was pouring out like somebody turned on a faucet and within10 min didn't even have a chance to get her into the cat to rush her to the animal hospital and she was dead...I don't understand what happened...I can't take it she was my baby. She was gonna be 2 in November I mean that was such a short life. I just don't understand??? HELP

The other night I was at the hospital due to sever headache (Thunderclap headache). I was diagnosed with having a vascular headache which the ER dr. described as one of my blood vessels in my brain is small and because I have sever hypertension (high blood pressure 169/113) it causes this blood vessel to swell a bit. Well I was discharged on Wed. morning I still have the headache (they said it could last up to 10 days) but now I have a problem with my left arm. It keeps locking up towards my chest and my hand goes into a claw. (Best way to discribe is when some body gets a brain injury and there arm go handicapped). I also get sever twitching in the right side of my face. It is not constant. It happens about every 20 seconds for about 2-3 hours then it will stop for a couple hours then start again. I can't see my dr. until Monday. Should I go back to the ER. or should I just wait till Monday.

My cat just had kittens today(second litter). I was wondering if this is normal. The kittens have been nursing for 5 hours straight now. I know that the mother cat has milk(it is dripping out the side of the kittens mouths) . Also I have two other cats that have kittens of there own (21/2 wks old and 11/2 wks old). They are all in the same box together. I have given up on trying to separate them because I do and they will pick up there kittens and take them back to the big box (3 feet by 5 feet)...They all helped each other with the birthing process(cleaning the kittens and grooming the mother cat while she was in labour) Is it ok to keep them in the same box as long as they have enough room and the older kittens are not bugging the newborns?????

My cat has become very aggressive towards my dog in the last two weeks. My dog is not small either (lab, wolf, collie mix). He cannot do anything. He tries to go eat she attacks, he tries to come to me she attacks, he tries to sleep and she can see him she will attack. She has already given him 7 stitches in the face. I am worried. I can't get rid of either of them. Is this normal. She use to be so affectionate with him. They use to sleep together and groom each other I don't get it.

I have two cats. One of them gave birth to a litter of kittens the other cat is gonna have kittens any day now. She has been nesting in the same box with the other mother and kittens and has been cleaning the other cats kittens...Is this normal. If I try to keep her out of the box she gets very panicky...Can she have the kittens in the same box or should I force her out of the box?

My cat had kittens on Tuesday April 15th. She had four kittens two died the day they were born and one died on April 18th(3 days after birth). Those kittens were tiny maybe about 50 grams. Now the last one was born weighing 200grams...Is this normal or Is he gigantic for a kitten. He is already 350grams and 8 inches long his is only 5 days old. His paws are bigger then my thumb nail.

My cat had 4 kittens today. 2 of them died...I am worried that the mother cat is not feeding the other 2 properly. How do I know if they r well fed or not or if I should go buy kitten formula?

The other day I went for a ride in a car with my friends and my left ear kept popping now there is a small lump and pain (almost unbearable) on my jaw just below my ear...Don't know what the hell it is and Dr. office isn't open till Tuesday

I am in need of some serious help. I have two kids one is 9 the other is 3. My 3 yr old is good all day. I mean ask her to do something it is done no problem. The moment my son walks in the door from school it is like a light switch is turned on in my 3 yr old and she totally changes. She is screaming , yelling, throwing things and having tantrum after tantrum and I am just at my wits end...I don't know what to do. I asked my dr. he said oh she will grow out of it. HELP

Last week my cat got really really sick...She Almost died. Nobody could figure out was wrong with her until I suggested to my Vet, that is it possible she got e-coli from drinking toilet water. I never thought twice about it. I have always left my toilet seat up(for my kids they are little) and never thought in a million years that my cat could become that sick from e-coli. She now is slowly getting better. for 4 days I had to force her to drink water with plan pedialite in a syringe. Now she is drinking on her own and eating two teaspoons of wet cat food a day. Poor little thing. I just thought i would let everybody know keep toilet seats down or you may end up getting your pet very sick.

Well yesterday i got out of the car and stepped the wrong way...I don't think it is broke because it would bruise. But every time I try to move my foot it feels like and sounds like there are crackers is my ankle...Also when I am sitting my foot feels like it is just dangeling there...It is swollen all the way up to my knee and my toes are all swollen...There is no bruising thought just lots of swelling and lots of pain.

My cat had kittens and I decided to keep one female. I am Having such a hard time naming her. She was the runt of the litter she is brown and black tabby with a white chest and belly and all her paws are white any suggestions????

I have a 9 year old son and a 3 year old daughter. My son in the past year has gone from this sweet little boy to this mouthy mean boy. I don't know what to do anymore I have tried taking things away I have tried grounding him. I yelled and I am at the last resort with him. He yells at me he has strangled his sister her smacks her he smacks me. He tells me that he doesn't have to listen to what I have to say...Help...Oh yeah and yes I am a single mother his father took off when his sister was 4 months old.

I have three cats and only one died. My baby Max he was a one year old male tabby. Every Sunday I give my cat Max a can of price choppers brand wet cat food. Usually the other two cats try to get into it but I put him on the counter to eat it because my other two are to young to eat wet. It upset the digestive system. So Max ate his can of food what he didn't eat I through out. He was fine all night. I went to bed woke up in the morning and he was throwing up and he couldn't walk. I was freaking out. I said to myself I will take my son to school and then rush Max to the vet. There was no hope by the time I dropped my son off at school and returned home Max was already gone. There was no mention yet of tainted cat food. So I took him to the local pound and had him cremated. Two days later I was watching the news and to find out that I killed my cat by giving him his favorite Sunday treat. I wan't to sue these bastards for killing my cat but how can I prove that it was them

I have a lot of pain in my back on my left hand side right around the area of my Kidney. It feels like a nerve twitching and it also feels like there is boiling water swishing around in my back. It is very uncomfortable. Don't know what it is. HELP PLEASE

K well just to start I'm 28 with 2 kids. In the past year I have been having serious problem with my period. I come on about every 32 days. My period last anywhere between 7-15 days. I go through 4 packs of pads(box of 18 which = 72 overnight pads) plus for the first 4 days I have to use diapers because I am on soooooo heavy. The other problem is that I have a lot of clotting and some are the size of tennis balls and they are a weird colour(purple pink colour looks kind of like very rare steak) and when ever I sit of the toilet it feels like my uterus is going to fall out. I actually scream in pain because there is so much pressure. HELP PLEASE

I had an appendectomy a week ago...I have felt sick to my stomach since the day I had it done...The pain was starting to go away yesterday then I woke up this morning and I have had some horrible pain right at the very bottom of my abdomen right above my pubic bone...It feels like someone has a razor inside my stomach and slicing it open....I don't know if this is normal or if I should go see a DR???????????
