I read this book, which was a historical romance, about 15 years ago and don't remember the title. The villain had one eye blue and one eye green. I dont remember much more. I think the Heroine was an orphan but unknown to her had a sizeable inheritance which the villain was trying to kill her for.

I have been searching for the e-book format online but to no avail. I have the mass market edition but it is a very hefty book to carry around. I always like to have it with me as it is one of my favourite books, but would love to have a "lighter" alternative since it is more than 1000 pages.

Would you think it was neglect that caused a fighter fish to die after being in someone's care for only 2 weeks? I had to travel and left it with a friend only to be told that it had died. I had the fish for almost a year. Neglect or Natural?
