  • Really need a computer whiz ! What happened?

    What would make 6 months of Yahoo! mail dissappear from an account? It was not deleted. The computer was having problems and was reformatted. The account was active. Could this be a virus? Is there any way to retrieve the lost e-mails? Some were very important. Is there a way to contact Yahoo! about this? I'm afraid that's all the detail I can give as it wasn't my computer ( posting for a friend)

    I was, and no longer. Does anyone know why this would be? Do they stop alerting you when you receive a best answer? I haven't changed any settings in my e-mail.
