I believe that they have a glitch with there server. I ahven't gotten the email alerts either when I receive a best answer.

I think you have to check the check box when asking the question. if you notice, there's a check box underneath the page when you ask a question that asks you if you want alerts when a response is posted, You have to check it. If the check box wasnt there, then maybe they're not doing it anymore.
