I dropped small parts and a few coins on the console between the front seats. The parts fell into the small hole where the parking brake handle is located -- under the parking brake handle.
. Anybody know how to get into that area? Does the whole center console lift up? Screws? Snaps?
Does the cup holder come out?

I make business trips on mostly quiet roads. I would like to record stories for download at home. Should I just use the Sony Recorder with Dragon? Is there another way? Would my Droid Charge have good enough audio using free software APP?
1 AnswerProgramming & Design8 years agoHow long does Pex last?
The hot water pipe ruptured under the concrete slab of the house . About 40' from the kitchen and garage area. I already had installed a small electric water heater in the dead space by the kitchen sink so there is "instant" hot water at the sink. I really do not care much about hot water to the wet bar. The original water heater works fine for the two bathrooms at that end of the house. This only leaves a slight hardship but have been using cold water for clothes washer. All electric one story house in California. I am thinking of installing Pex in the attic to the wet bar area to supply the hot water to the kitchen/garage end of the house. Nice tall attic easy to work in.
The only doubts I have is drilling a large hole in the wall header and studs (up from the heater closet and down into the wall over the wet bar). Should I add steel mending plates or pieces of wall stud to keep the headers strong? Also, there is some copper pipe in the attic but only across the two car garage area. How long does copper pipe and joints last? 30 year old house. How long does Pex last?
Ding Dong professional plumber wanted "about" $5,000 to run a copper pipe through the attic. very funny!
