answer this question, Why Anime with R+ (mild nudity), R17+ (violence & profanity) Ratings exist?

Thing is last year Thunder crashed near my room.

thunder literally crashed 1-3 meters away from my Computer.

This EMP or whatever its called released by Thunder caused my phone line to become useless.

from phone line EMP went to my ADSL Modem & it got Fried :( (had to replace wire & modem)

I live on Top Floor in my Building.

actually EMP erased Modems Software i think

because modem was turning on but totally failed to Boot. Only Power LED was ON.

Adapter was fine too.

fortunately Computer remained Fine :)

maybe because of Grounding Wire. (Earthing Wire)

i think all EMP went through Earthing Wire instead of attacking the Computer itself :)

which is why Computer was saved. not exactly sure.

i went ahead & attached my Homes Earthing Wire to Window Grills made of Iron. < Will this work?

hoping if thunder crashed near my Window again & released EMP,

it will all go ground through Earthing Wire. instead of attacking my phone line & killing Modem again.

my half part of phone line is on window grills (where you will usually keep plant pots),

phone line then comes in through small hole in window near my PC & is attached to Modem.

Unfortunately could not get phone line directly from inside my Home

because Phone Box from where line comes from happen to be near Road in front of home

as i live on Top Floor & Phone Box is on Ground Floor near the Road,

i had no choice but to keep phone line outside home.

so line is in 90 degree position. vertical position on left side all the way to the Phone Box.

& horizontal position on top floor window grills all the way to the right side where my PC is.

& now that i have attached Earthing Wire to these Window Grills,

it should Ground any EMP caused by thunder if it crashed near my Window Grills again. :)
