What kind of spider is this?
Looks like I have a clan of spiders on my front porch. They seem to hang out under my siding and under the siding on the roof over hang. They come out mostly at night but sometimes I see a few out during the day.

So this year I decided to try my hand in gardening and grew about 9 jalapeno plants. And now they have given me a few dozen jalapenos I need to figure out how to prepare them.
I've picked a couple and when eaten raw they have that hard texture like a green bell pepper. What I want to do is soften them up a bit.
I like the jalapenos you can get on like texas cheese fries from chilis, or just a side of jalapenos from Papa Johns (that's like all I eat from papa johns lol) So if you've had these you know what texture I'm going for.
I've tried steaming and roasting them but they cam out too soft and mushy. Does anyone think these peppers are just pickled? Or anyone have any suggestions?

I'm tring to do gradients with a CSS Style sheet. I can successfully created a horizontal gradient (going left to right) But I am have trouble with a veritcal graident.
When I do the vertical gradient I dont get a smooth top down gradeint. I end up with bars of the graident only about 20 pixels tall. I'm not sure what's wrong. I'm currently using Firefox 6.0.
The HTML file is just a blank HTML file. The only thing in it is a link to the style sheet. but that code is also below.

So I always had trouble trusting people. I'm always thinking they are trying to scam me for some reason. And unfortunately I now think I can't trust my wife.
I know I can probably work out any martial problems if I just talk to her but I dont feel like I can becuase I keep thinking she is going to just say what I want to hear and not what she really feels.
I really feel like we are headed for divorce and I think she's just trying to set me up so she doesn't have to work at all and just mooch off of me. And she is going to try an do anything and can so she doesnt have to move back in with her parents. I dont know if this is an overblown fear of mine or not.
Anyone know if me not trusting anyone is overblown. if so is there a name for this sort of thing?

I'm looking at Canon's T3i and T2i Dslr cameras. I compared teh two on cannons' websitre and only found that the difference between teh two are $100.00 and the T3i (more expensive) lists the file szies to be smaller than the T2i.
I know they both Do HD, which Canons website doesn't say when you compare the two. But what is the big difference that justifies the T3i being $100 more?

I have a promaster 5750DX flash for my Canon camera.
Currently i can put 4 batteries in the ready light comes on but I can not get it to flash, even with the test light. I've had this problem before and it was the batteries.
When it happen before the store I got the flash from had given me some brand of batteries I had never heard before. Then I used rechargeable batteries, i haven't used the flash in about a year.
I've tried new energizer advanced lithium batteries and brand new ray-o-vac batteries to no avail. Is it safe to say the flash is now dead or does someone know of better batteries I can use?

Ok I got this 19 month old boy now. who refuses to listen to me or my wife when we tell him to stop, no, or to come here when we need to change his diaper, etc.
We know he understands what we are saying. My wife works at the daycare he goes to and if the daycare teacher asks him to "come over here and get your diaper changed" He happily marches over puts his arms up to be picked up and lays there happily while he gets changed. When we say the same this he laughs and then runs. after we catch him its a fight to get the diaper changed. he squirms and fights the whole time.
While at daycare the daycare teacher will tell him to stay on his mat until nap time is over (if he wakes early). and he will lay there quietly like a good little boy. If my wife and I ask him to sit down in the chair, stop attacking the cat or what ever he just laughs at us and continues doing what he is doing.
I just want my kid to liste to me and my wife like he does the teachers. they never had any problems with him not following directions. In one instance My wife was watching the room he was in. at nap time she had to ask another teacher to tale her place becuase he would not listen to her when she asked them to get on their nap time mats. Another teahcer came in and he laid down and went right to sleep.
My wife an I think he needs to learn what a time out is. apparently he thinks he can get away with whatever he wants with us. So how do you implement something like this. I know if I tell him to stand in the corner for a minute or two he isn't going to do it on his own.

All the trees have this pale green fungus growing on the trunk, and the one not doing so good has the most. ok My dad and I got into a argument about his hot water heater. He claims he shuts the circuit breaker off to his hot water heater and only turns it back on 20-30 minutes before he takes a shower and by doing this he saved around 35% (about $45) on his electric.
Now this all sounds reasonable but he insists that he has a Oil powered hot water heater and not an electric water heater. Now I havent been able to go over there but it doesn't make sense to me that an OIl powered water heater would use that much electric.
I've tried looking for some info on Oil heaters and everything says they are basically heating by burning the oil. So any plumbers out there have anything they can link to or confirm if a Oil water heater uses any significant amount of electricity?

Has anyone noticed a bad delay in getting games to and from gamefly recently?
I've had Gamefly off and on for about 2 years now. And honestly the service has been pretty good. Normal shipping times for me were in the range of 2-3 days depending on where the game was shipped from. But with my last 4 games it has been taking 7-9 days to get to me from when gamefly ships them and 7-9 days from when I ship them back for gamefly to notify me that they have recieved it back.
I know that gamefly won a dispute with the USPS about fee's (some $730,000.00 a month). just wondering if this is the USPS getting revenge or something.
Anyone else have the same experience the last month or so with bad shipping times??

I recently installed norton security suite 5 after a hard drive failure. I think I previously had security suite 4.
In the previous version I had the firewall set up to prompt me before any new program attempts to access the internet. Including programs norton deemed safe. If it tried to access I got prompted the first time regardless.
I can not find this feature in security suite 5. Is there anywway to turn this option on. I'm thinking it's there just maybe in a different place or called something different?

I am trying to make a collage with indesign. I am using multiple sized rectangle boxes.
Once I have my rectangle frame boxes placed is there anyway to align the boxes so they are spaced even inbetween each other, like the gutters are all the same size?
I tried using the align tool but I have trouble where the boxes will bunch up and overlap each other.

What I want to do is create a circle with nothing in the middle using adobe illustrator. sounds simple, probably is. basically I have an outer circle and a inner circle. I want the area between the two to be colored while the area within the inner circle to remain transparent.
So far I have been able to acheive this but only by increasing the stroke to a huge number on both circles. is there any other way of doing it?

ok so I have/had a prostate infection. I have been on anti-botics for about 10 weeks now. I am fine for the most part but it seems to take awhile to start urinating. once I start it seems fine, the volume is ok and it doesn't dribble anymore.
but my question is how long should it take me to start urinating. it has been so long I think I forgot what normal is. It takes me about 5-6 seconds to start, which seems like a long time. But is this normal or should I go back to my Dr?
