  • Doberman vs Cane Corso vs German Shepherd vs Boxer?

I am iso of a breed that I can use for agiltity, obedience competitions, therapy, etc. but will be fine with one 3-5 mile walk per day. I want a male, I'm going to be getting a puppy/younger dog. I've done research on all but don't know which would be the best fit.

  • How much exercise is enough for these dog breeds?

    Hi,

I'm going to be getting a new puppy & after doing my fair share of research, I have some questions

I walk/jog about 2.5 miles with my pup daily & working up to a 5 mile walk (may attempt jogging it eventually) & thought this would be an excellent way to exercise my new pup as well. I also have a large yard & three active small dogs to play with, along with hiking 1-2 times a week. I understand the benefits & importance for mental stimulation/training as well, that will be included.

I am a young girl who does school online so time isn't an issue, but my energy levels are. I'm a pretty lazy person, however I am working on being more active before I get the pup, as said above.

I was not able to just choose one breed, so I have 6 picked out. Those 6 are a Great Dane, a Golden, a Lab, a Doberman , a Boxer, or a German Shepherd . Out of these, the Doberman is my 1st choice (& the one with the most energy).

2 1/2 miles (probably more by the time the new pup arrives) + 1 hour (or more) of mental stimulation daily should be plenty for the first 3 breeds, but I've heard that the last 3 need quite a bit of exercise. Eventually, agility will be added on to this, & possible other dog sports. Will it be enough, or too much or...?

I also understand that you have to be careful with big breed puppies as they grow because of their joints & such, especially Great Danes, so I keep that in consideration also.

Thank you for your help (:

  • I want to start a dog breeding business...?

Hi, I am a teenage girl who lives with my mom who lives in a small town about an hour outside of Phoenix, AZ. I ve been trying to start a doggy daycare business in my home but so far it s not getting too far. I have a dog and cat of my own, and my two little brothers each have a puppy. I want to get another dog of my own, but I also need some extra cash. Dogs are my passion and I love them to death, so I think that breeding may be something I can do. I want to breed Labradors, Goldens, Great Danes, or Shar-Peis. My mom used to breed English Mastiffs for 10 years, so she has experience, and we live in a roomy home on a half acre of land, but my biggest concern is that my mom runs a daycare for toddlers from our house, too.

    Opinions?

  • A play off of "a house made of stone"?

I have a dream to start my own buisness based off a idea that a book gave me.

The book is called "A House Made of Stone"

I want a name similar to this, like a play off of sorts. I ve thought of things like "Boulders of Homes" but I don t like that too much. I ve also tried it in different languages but nothing caught my eye.

  • Renaming help?

    Hi.

I'm a young girl with a long, crappy backstory that has led to me to the desire to change my name (current name is Sarah Joy Phelps.)

After hours on end of searching, I came across a couple names that I liked for myself. I ended up settling on Journey Maeve Spencer. I still love it, but it has never felt complete, never felt like it fit correctly. So here I am, asking for (more) help. Just want to try some more out before I make a final decision.

I love unisex names, mostly, some examples are Marley, Blue, Journey, Miles, and Blake(ley).

I'm looking for a total name change, first, middle, and last. I have Irish heritage that I'd like to contribute into my name, as well.

Ask as many questions as you'd like, and I look forward to reading your suggestions.

  • 3G & MMS not working?

Today I turned my iPhone 4s (originally from Verizon) on with Straight Talk. I can call and text people just fine, but for some reason I can t use the internet if I m not connected to WiFi, because my 3G won t turn on, and it won t let me send picture messages (MMS), or even give me the option to turn it on. It s really ticking me off, especially because I talked to Straight Talk and they had no answers or solutions.

  • What all does it take for an American to move to Australia?

I figured out I need a visa... but what type? I'll be 19 when I move, and by then I should have at least $20,000 to live off of until I get a flat and a job. What else is required?

  • Is a florist's salary enough to live a comfortable life in Australia?

I want to move to Australia in a few years, and I want to be a florist. It sounds like the job for me. I did some research, and it said the average starting salary in Aus is US$25,885.74 annually, US$15 an hour (AU$31,787 / 18.42 ). I'm pretty sure would work for me... would I be able to live off of this in Australia?

I could also get a side job, such as a retail worker or barista, which pay well but still give me time for a florist. They pay US$12.35 / 9.85 + tips an hour ((AU$ 15.16 / 12.10) and US$25,498.11 / $20, 739.87 (AU$31,311 / $25,468 ). Could I live off these salaries comfortably in Australia? These are all minimum wage, by the way, since I haven't started working yet.

  • Why do I feel like this?

I'm a 14 yr old girl. I don't feel male or female but I want to be a boy. I don't get it. I want to be a boy so bad but I don't think I want to undergo the process, I just wish I was born a male. but since I wasn't, i'm upset. i don't want to have a sex-change bc i would still feel like a girl who wanted to be a guy, and i would be identified as a tranny instead of a guy. What do I do??

  • Why do I want to be a boy?

I m a 14 year old girl who s very uncomfortable in her body. For the past, like, 6 months, i ve been having daydreams and fantasies about what my life would be if I was a boy. I crave it. The weird thing is, though, I just wish I was born a boy, I don t want a sex change, because I wouldn t really be a guy. I would still be a girl in some ways. I akso wouldn t be accepted by my family if I were to have the operation. I want to have short hair, muscles, and wear guys clothes. I don t want to worry about periods or getting pregnant or my appearance constantly. I want to be a boy, but I don t want a sex change. What do I do?

  • How much money would you need to save up to move across the world?

I currently live in the US, but am planning on moving to Australia in a little less than 4 years. I will need enough money for food and housing for at least 2 months, along with the cost of taking myself and my things over there. About how much money do you think I'll need?

  • Ireland VS Australia VS London?

I currently live in America, and I've lived here my entire life, but I don't want to live here anymore. After I finish school, I want to leave, get out of this country. But I need help. I have done research on all areas, but I can not decide. I love the weather in London, nature or whatever in Ireland (I can't remember the word) and the people and food and prices in Aussie. What's are the pros and cons of the three places, and your opinions on which is the best or your favorite? Thank you!

  • Opinion on name for puppy?

I'm getting a german shorthaired pointer puppy in a few weeks, a 7 week old boy. I finally found a name I'm set on, after weeks of searching.

    Christofer Drew.

It's the name of the lead singer of the band NeverShoutNever, and a very positive person, my favorite artist and my idol.

I was researching and it turns out that Kit is a nickname for Christofer, so I would name him Christofer Drew and nickname him Kit.

  • Can you think of any cute or creative nicknames for the name Renegade?

I'm getting a puppy and this is one of the names I like. But, it's so long. I want to shorten it up so I don't have to drag out the whole three syllables each time I call him. What do you think?
