Why does it take 20-50 years to be diagnosed with Mesothelioma?
How and why does it take that long for a cancer to affect you? What happens during the process that can take decades?
2 AnswersCancer3 years agoTax question?
I'm doing taxes and I'm at education deductions.
It's asking:
"Books and materials required to be purchased from the school".
Would online course materials be considered purchased from the school, meaning required to attend this course.
or
Books and materials not required to be purchased from the school
It's not like a textbook, where you can buy from anywhere.
I purchased three NewConnect McGraw Hill education course where all my graded assignments are held and is part of my grade. Does this qualify?
3 AnswersUnited States3 years agoCan I return/cancel a auto loan for a used car?
Say If I wanted to get an auto loan for a used car from my bank. The car I wanted was sold to someone else. Now how would this process happen? Do I pay penalties? Simply return the money? Never gotten a loan before.
10 AnswersBuying & Selling3 years agoCan I receive benefits if I'm already receiving benefits?
I just got offered for benefits at my job, however I already "receive" benefits from my mother's benefits from her job, all her children (me) receive benefits from her plans and there are already dental/vision/medical cards with my name on it on her plan that I can use whenever I need.
Can I accept benefits from my job? What would happen? Pros and cons? I have a deadline to accept these benefits.

4 AnswersOther - Health3 years agoYou think if I m caught "underage" drinking I ll get in trouble?
I m not 21, but I am 20 and will be in approximately 4 months.
You think the cops will let it go if it s only 4 months lol? A friend is turning 21 and we re gonna get lit on his birthday. We drink responsibly (Drink enough to act stupid and dumb and funny but not like slumped/faint) and won t be going or driving anywhere in a vehicle when we re drunk (We know ourselves from right and wrong while drunk), but may make a lot of noise in his house, which is why cops may show up.
I m only asking because I know teenagers illegally drink, which is why that law was probably made but I m not a teenager, I m not 18, I m not 19, I am 20 almost 21. I m an adult according to law and I think I should be good, thoughts? This also is NOT my first time drinking, plenty of times I drink in private and then I just sleep it off. However, we would be somewhere public and that obviously changes things (Hotel)
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics3 years agoI think something is wrong with me?
I'll start by saying that I love working, more specifically, I feel so accomplished when I finish all of my responsibilities everyday. I try to overachieve when it comes to handling all of my tasks, finishing my work to do some more work thereafter. It can be mentally exhausting sometimes, but something just keeps me going.
There's one error in doing this however, I continue to work OFF the clock. Yes, I work my regular paid 8 hours, and I have to clock out, and I do, but I return to my desk and continue working for as long as three extra hours at times.
My coworkers chastise me for doing this, asking me "Why are you working for free?" "He's working for free, he's crazy".
Personally, I don't care about the money I could have earned, but as long as seeing work completed then I'm happy.
Thoughts? Should I stop doing this?

6 AnswersOther - Business & Finance4 years agoWhat would stop my tub from draining completely?
At first, the tub would slowly drain, now it doesn t drain at all. Now there is a lot of standing water (like 20 gallons) in the tub. What could be causing this?
How could I fix this? I ve tried the snake & drano, like 6 times. I can t really afford a plumber right now.
My last attempt is probably going to be that metal round cover with a screw that sits below the faucet, not sure what that is for though.
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs4 years agoBoss takes $1 out of every employees paycheck. Is he allowed to do this?
Just got a new job and got paid. He calls it "employer tax", no one knows about it because it's such a small amount everyone misses it but I overheard him talking about how he does this to everyone. The $1 goes to him, he partly owns the company. There's like 200 people that work in his building, including myself
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics4 years agoHow to calculate taxable income?
I don t mean salary. I mean like every paycheck I want to know what my net amount would be if I know the gross amount. I live in Florida. Is there a method to figuring this out mathematically?
5 AnswersUnited States4 years agoSame Day shipping Amazon?
If I am given the same day shipping option when ordering something on Amazon, can't I just drive and buy it from where it is?
I mean if it can be processed, tagged, and shipped in just a few hours, that must mean the item I ordered is somewhere in my vicinity right?
It's nice that's it same day, but I'd rather avoid the substantial shipping fee that comes with it, otherwise I would lean more towards standard shipping.
3 AnswersCorporations4 years agoWhat is the difference between Property Damage Liability and Collision insurance?
How does it affect an accident involving only two cars and not a property? Driver A has no insurance coverage, Driver B has full coverage (Including Collision). Driver A hits Driver B while reversing out of a parking lot. What happens, assuming no property or people were damaged/injured during the incident?
I thought your auto insurance covers damage done to your vehicle, not the other drivers insurance?
2 AnswersInsurance & Registration4 years agoInsurance? What will happen?
fml right now. but I was involved in a car accident with another vehicle literally on my driveway.
In Florida, is a no fault state, so insurance companies would handle the damage to our cars?
I wasn t aware that I did not have insurance at the time of the accident because of payment, it didn t not lapse. I thought those payments were made
I don t know what to do, the other driver made a claim against my cancelled insurance. I don t whether to call my insurance and they ll give me more consequences rather than help or what. I know it won t even matter if I pay the outstanding balance on my insurance because It wouldn t cover it.
Does it not actually being on a Florida public road matter, as it was on my driveway?
3 AnswersInsurance & Registration4 years agoApartment Damages?
So I've lived in my apartment for 11 years at this point with 3 other people. It initially looked amazing, clean and comfortable. Fast forward 5 years, it still relatively looks clean and very minor imperfections. Fast forward another 5 years to today and the apartment is damaged and needs repairs.
The Walls are dirty (One wall actually has a very huge hole)
Carpet is also dirty (and has what appears to be mold in some areas)
All Closet doors are damaged and no longer attached to the wall.
AC doesn't work (Had to buy one)
Microwave doesn't work (Had to buy one)
Tub and sink doesn't drain properly (Drain very slowly) and based on that I believe pumbling is necessary for the entire house.
Pretty much all blinds are damaged and/or ripped.
So yea pretty much what I'm dealing with here. Would I be responsible for all these repairs?
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs4 years agoRearview mirror keeps falling?
Stupid ford and their cheap plastic.
My rearview mirror keeps falling and I've tried rearview mirror adhesive to Krazy Glue and it doesn't work. I live in Florida where it's usually like 90° everyday. Is there an adhesive that can withstand this temperature on a day to day basis? Because I don't what else to do, I can't merge safely without the rearview mirrior

7 AnswersSingles & Dating4 years agoSay if I have a credit card?
I want a credit card, but I've never had or used one before.
Basically my purpose for the credit card is spend as I do normally while I get payed from my job for the entire month and whatever my credit card balance is by the end of the month I'll just pay from what I made from my job toward the credit card.
(I'm basically only using the money made from my job for the credit card)
Now, are there interest fees associated with this? I mean for just spending money from the credit card, are these transactions charged interest no matter what?
I anticipate to pay the entire balance every time, I'm trying to build credit.
