I m buying a car soon and, as with the last time I bought one, I m expecting it to have an empty fuel gauge when I pick it up. The nearest petrol station is three miles away? Would the car be likely to make it there?

I was on Jobseekers up until March when I got a temp job. When the temp job ended, I stayed off the dole and used a combination of Disability Living Allowance and some savings. Now money is getting tight and my DLA won't cut it. I don't think I can go back on the dole as I have another job starting in November so I couldn't look for permanent work. What help can I get with living costs?

If unemployment is caused by wages that are too high, could removing the minimum wage and allowing the wages to settle a lower equilibrium wage solve our unemployment woes?

I want to start tutoring Maths from home. I'd be working with under 18s so I assumed I'd need one. Enhanced, Basic or Standard Disclosure?

I'm a young amateur classical singer(22) and my teacher keeps hinting for me to try and break into opera. The only problem is that I'm not from the conventional conservatory background and, as I'm not eligible for tuition fees, conservatory isn't an option for the future, either. I'm currently preparing for grade 8 and a couple of festivals and hopefully some amateur opera at some point. What else can I do to boost my musical CV?

My cat is 2 years old and has always used her litter tray without a problem unless I forget to change it.

A few days ago, as I'd forgotten to change her litter tray, she peed in the bath so I disinfected the bath and changed her litter tray. The problem is, even though her tray is clean and ready to use, she is still peeing in the bath. I have tried putting the litter tray in the bath to remind her to use it instead of the bath(as this has worked in the past) but even this hasn't worked(she literally peed in the bath and it all ran underneath the litter tray)

What else can I do? :/

I'm a young singer (22) currently looking to enter my second festival competition. I already have repertoire ideas for musical theatre and art song but I am struggling to come up with an idea for the operatic aria class. The problem is, although I'm a tenor, I don't have any of the notes above the Ab yet. Given my voice is centred quite low, could I get away with singing a Baritone aria?

As the concentration of protons in a given solution can take any positive value and we are taking log to base 10 of this value, surely pH can take any real value due to the un-bounded nature of the logarithm function? :/

I know people hate stuff like this but I really need to know the honest truth(can one have a dishonest truth?). It's happened multiple times where I've built a decent rapport with a guy only to find out further down the line that he's not interested. I guess I just want to know whether it's a problem of looks or personality.

I dropped out of uni last summer and my parents(well my mum and her partner) are trying to squeeze £40 pounds per week of rent out of me because they're getting impatient with me about getting a job. It's not like I don't want to work, no one wants to hire me. All I'm living off at the moment is my dole money and leftovers from my student loan and I'm somehow supposed to pay for rent, 2 of my three meals per day and and pay for the train to get to job interviews in various random parts of the north west! Why can't they see that I'm in a really **** situation and that the last thing I need is more stresses on my finances? I tried telling them I can't pay any more but they said if I want to live in this house I have to cough up the money, which is their indirect way of threatening to throw me out! Are there any arguments I can make that I haven't tried?

It is a notion I have read about in the books of Garcia, Marchesi and Salaman and I know it is a controversial one which, if taken to extremes, can be harmful to the voice. I was just wondering, of the singers who post on here, who is for or against it? Maybe some of you use it yourselves?
