Causes for a migraine, aside from the listed triggers?
Can anyone tell me what other causes there could be for a migraine? I have eliminated ALL of the following over the course of many moths:
-bright light
-low pressure
-high pressure
-sudden pressure changes
-onions
-tomatoes
-cheese
-dehydration
-missing a caffeine fix in morning
-any prescription drugs
-chocolate
-perfumes
-sugar level changes (high-low or vice versa)
And hopefully I didn't miss any, I just need more to see if they are what's triggering mine.
Thanks.
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agowhat can this type of confusion be?
I recently had in my left hand a small key, and in my right hand an earplug.
I meant to put the earplug into my left ear, but instead my left hand responded and I ended up poking myself in the left ear with the small key.
Okay, stop laughing already, it really happened, and the more I think about it, the more worried I am that it could be something serious.
I've been having really crummy sleeps the past two weeks at night, and I think it could have happened to sleep deprivation.
Is it possible I am correct, or could something else be at play here?
1 AnswerOther - Health9 years agoHow can you remove deodorant/perspiration staining from shirt pits?
I've read somewhere that you can use ammonia, but how would one do that, spray it onto the stains and wash, or pour an amount in with a load?
Is there anything else anyone's used that's worked for them?
Thanks!!
2 AnswersCleaning & Laundry9 years agoDo you tip when using Take-Out from a restaurant?
Upon phoning in, ordering online, or right at the take-out counter, do you tip when you pick up your order? If so, how much? If not, why?
I've been battling this out with myself and I sometimes throw a quarter in the jar if they have one, I just don't feel right tipping for such a basic service. after all, the cooks don't get tipped, why would the cashier?
So, I'm looking for reasonable advice on the matter.
Thanks!
8 AnswersEtiquette9 years agoCould this be Listeriosis? Or nothing to fret about?
I'm not a child, I'm not elderly, nor am I pregnant. I also have a healthy immune system.
I had really bad diarrhea a few days ago accompanied by cramps and achy joints, milder since then with each day seemingly better (I have NOT had any cramps or aches since that first day, a total of 3 days).
With the uproar recently in the news here in Ontario, Canada, I'm now nervous I might have contracted the listeria bacteria as I have eaten a sandwich at one of the fast food places named as one of the sources a couple of weeks ago.
Long story short, how long should I go on before I should see a doctor (bearing in mind this is 3 days nows)? I'm thinking it could just be coincidental with the news, that I might have just had a touch of a virus or ate something just a little off. I don't have a fever and no new symptoms have made themselves known. My appetite's fine, just that I'm eating lightly right now until my tummy-thing is over, and my fluid intake is normal.
Incidentally, I've already found all of the information I can handle on Listeriosis. I'm not feeling absolutely crummy (just the number-two-thing), it's just that with all of the hype I think I may just be paranoid (hypochondriadic) and want to find out what new symptoms I should look out for which would indicate something serious or how long I could expect an "upset tummy" like the one I described above to last...before I see a doctor.
Thanks!
