I recently watched an episode of Outside The Lines on ESPN, that took a look at Transgender Teenagers who are either playing or trying to play on their High School sports teams.

The report spotlighted two teens, one boy and one girl. The boy lived in a state with policies that allowed Transgender teens to play on the teams in which they gender identified with. The Girl lived in a state that had no such policies.

Both athlete reflected on how they felt different from an early age, and the bullying and treats they received as they tried to be who they are, and play sports in the gender they Identified with. The report also acknowledged that many Transgender teens have committed and attempted suicide.

Their stories didn't sound any different then the the ones you often hear from Gay teens in almost ever High School around the world, but no where in the report was the word "Gay" or "Homosexual" ever used. In fact, it seemed as though ESPN was being very careful not to use those words.

It lead me to wonder; is there a deference between being Gay and being Transgender. if so, what is the difference?

I often play Microsoft internet backgammon on my lap top. Some days I can't be beat, and other days the game seems to always give my opponent the exact rolls of the dice to beat me. Because I can't really communicate with my opponent, i sometimes wonder if i'm playing a real person or am I playing the computer or if my opponent is able to manipulate the dice roll. Am I the only one who thinks this?

It really starts to sink in that you're an adult, when it's your friends, and not your Parents friends, that are getting married and having babies.

I've already been to two weddings, I was in the wedding party for both and so we all wore rented tuxedos. But now, I've been invited to another friends wedding, this time as a guest, not in the wedding party. So what do I wear?

I really only own but one suit, and it's used primarily for Funerals, and sometimes for interviews (I work in the Sports industry , so I'm usually in athletic gear).

Someone once told me that they thought it was inappropriate to wear what the wedding party was wearing. I don't know if that's true or not, so should I break out the Funeral suit, wear something casual dress, or spend money to rent a tux?

When going out on a date, or just with friends, for dinner and movie, is it better to go to dinner first and then the movie, or Movie first and then the dinner.

some of my friends want to go to dinner first, but then i'm to full for movie snacks, and I don't want to sit through a whole movie without a lest a little popcorn.

My other friends want to see the movie first and then go to dinner. But again, I don't want to starve through a whole move, but when I eat even just a little popcorn and also a drink to wash it down, I find myself without and appetite for dinner.

So what's the best thing to do?

Does anybody remember the name of the short lived ABC court room drama that showed what really happened after the court decision was made?

If any one has read the books and seen the films, I haven't read the book(s), but I enjoyed David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and also Niels Arden Oplev 2009 film version of the novel. I also hear that there was a Mini-Series made for Swedish Tv back in 2010. What I was wondering is; which of these versions would you say is closer to Stieg Larsson’s book?

What happens with you during and after a kiss? Is there some tingli feeling that goes through out your body that makes you feel good? A U.N. mandate states that it will be illegal for U.S. Troops to be on Iraqi streets after Dec 31, 08. The Bush administration has been negotiating for a extension to the mandate with Iraq and the U.N. to keep the troops there. But Iraq is stalling in the talks. So, If the Iraq government doesn't want our troops there, shouldn't we just bring 'em home to their well over due heroes ceremonies and to the family and friends that miss them? Why stay where we're not wanted? What wrong with that?

One guy told me during the NY Primaries that he didn’t care if he was a “Crack Head from Washington, as long as we can get one of ours up in there!” It seems that blacks or whites can’t put the race thing behind them 4 now, and just make a decision based on the body of work and the ideas. Maybe I watch a little to much Star Trek, but is it really to soon to start asking for such a utopia?
