My boyfriend and I are going to be taking the train from Tacoma, WA to Portland, OR at the end of July. What are some fun things that are going to be going on that week that we should go do? Or what other fun things she we consider adding to our travel plans that are easily accessible with Portland s public transportation? :)

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip down to Portland Oregon. We're driving from Tacoma Washington. We would like to know what there is to do there? Our interestes include music, food, nature, animals, shopping and technology. We are already planning on going to Voo Doo Donuts and Padnahs restaraunts. Possibly going to Music Fest NW. Would like to go to plenty of outlet stores for clothing. This would be our first travel experience as adults, so as much information as you can give me would be great! Thank you! :)

I'm planning a trip to Tokyo with my boyfriend and possibly 3-4 of his friends. My boyfriend and I would be in our own room. We are planning to go in spring time. We would like a hotel that is close to shopping and is not a long trip to Akihabara. Something else on our to do list when we're there is to go to a cherry blossom festival. Would also be great if our hotel was close to restaraunts.

Can you also give me some ideas on what to do when we're there? We're not sure how long we're going to be there, but I know for sure that we are going to Akihabara and we would love to see some of the culture.

I started the iOS 7.1.2 update last night to go while I was sleeping. Had it plugged into the charger. But now when I woke up, it's still on the black update screen with the apple logo and has only gotten a quarter way downloaded. I can't turn my phone off either. What do I do?

I've tested the Carmy and I liked how it felt while driving. I haven't tried the Corolla yet, but I like how it looks, and I found one in my price range with ideal milages for a certified pre-owned. I like small cars, so I'm leaning more towards the Camry, but would like to know some of the pros and cons between the two? What are some of the major issues with these two cars? How much it regular maintenance on them?

I'm interested in Subaru Impreza hatch back and Toyota Camry base models. Either car at either 2012 or 2013 model year. I like how both feel when driving and the elbow room when my boyfriend is in the passenger seat. I like the interior of the Camry better but the AWD on the Impreza is a plus. It doesn't snow a lot here in Washington, but we do get a ton of rain. What are some pros and cons of these cars? What kind of major problems do they have? How much does it cost for regular maintenance?

I get static shock only when I'm at work. I'm pretty sure it comes from my chair, but I can't get a new chair. Every time I get out of my chair and touch my filing cabinet on my way out of my office, I get shocked. This only happens at work, not at home or in my car. Some times clothing sticks to me at work, not all of it, only a certain kind of material. I've had to change my headphones because my other ones would shock my ears while I was at my desk. How do I prevent the static from building up so I don't get shocked?

I have a 2006 Kia rio. My tail light is slowly letting water in and it's also getting into my trunk. I have to dry it out after work if it rains, which is often here. My mechanic unfortunately is not answering me. I called Kia and they said the repair would start at $200 which is way too much. I don't want to cover the edges of the light with duct tape. How can I fix it that won't cost too much or make my car ugly?

I got 2 $20 gift cards and applied them to my iTunes account. When using the iTunes program, I can see that it says I have the $40, but when I go to purchase the Matchbox 20 Collection, it asks for a payment method. It asks for my credit card information, or if I go to use the gift card method, it wont use what has already been applied to my account. Instead, it asks for a new gift card number. How do I use the $40 that is already on my account?

There's going to be a pot luck for my grandmother. I know there is going to be dozens of people there because there is A LOT of family and friends. I want something that is CREATIVE and EASY that not everyone would think to bring. I have a very small kitchen, so it can't be too ambitious. Someone is bringing meat and potatoes and there are already a lot of people bringing cakes. I'm best at baking rather than savory dishes.

I got my hair cut about 6 months ago. It isn't growing as fast as it usually does and for the last couple of months or so, even seems like it's not growing at all. I got it cut to my collar bone, but it has only grown about 4 inches since then. Usually it would have grown about 6 inches. What makes me think that it might have stopped growing is that I also got my bangs cut, which I usually never do. I got them cut to the top of my glasses, but for the last few months it has seemed like it has only grown enough to just barely stay tucked behind my ear and still falls out if I move quickly or lean forward. What can I do to help my hair grow faster?

My vet gave me Cephalexin 500MG for my dog. It says take two capsules by mouth twice daily for skin infection. Does that mean it will help heal my dog's hot spot? I have hot spot spray to help with the itching, will the medicine help heal the hot spot?

My laptop was in a backpack with basketball shorts that were staticky. When I pulled that laptop out to use it, it showed no signs of life. No lights, no display, nothing. Even when plugged into the charger. I tried taking the battery out, holding down the power button for 2 minutes, plugging in the charger without the battery in, and pressing the power button. That didn't work. I tried a couple more times. Nothing. Then tried putting in the battery with the power cord still attached, and the light that indicates that it is charging turned on. But when I opened it and pressed the power button, it died again and showed no signs of life. Tried repeating the process and haven't even had the chafing light come back on at all.

I was asleep on my stomach and woke up because I could feel my heart beating. I had my boyfriend put his hand over my heart and he could feel it too. About 5 min ago it started. It has calmed down now, but it scared me. I am only 24 years old and have had no heart problems at all. Yet here at 4 am I was asleep it started beating enough to wake me up. I am a heavy sleeper. I am breathing fine. It doesn't hurt at all. Just the fast paced beating scared me. I don't know what the cause could be.

I live in an apartment and it came with a gas fireplace in the corner with glass on the front. It makes a popping sound shortly after I turn it on and continues to do so after I turn it off for a few minutes. Is this dangerous? Should I notify my landlord about this, or is that normal?
