  • My one year old doesn't want to play with us. Should I be worried?

I know most mothers have the opposite problem, but my little girl (13 months) rarely wants to play with anyone. She is perfectly content sitting by herself looking at books, crawling through tunnels, playing with toys/blocks. She jabbers to herself. She does look for us every half hour or so. She will play for a couple minutes with us, look at us, smile but then wants to go off by herself. Is this a concern??

  • My 10 month old baby girls hair stands straight up. Can I get it to lay flat?

I comb it flat when wet and it just stands straight up. Any ideas?

  • Anyone ever had problems with PayPal?

I DO NOT have an account with Pay-Pal but got charged on my credit card. Someone racked up 1200 dollars worth of stuff on my card. The card has been cancelled. Has this ever happened to anyone with Pay Pal? Any way to prevent future things like this from happening?

  • Is it okay to leave a 9 month-old baby crying in her crib?

My daughter sleeps through the night about 10-12 hours. She has always been a pretty good napper, but lately doesn't want to take a single nap during the day. She gets fussy and when I have done all I can (changed her, walked her, fed her, etc) I assume she is tired and lay her down in her crib. She cries and cries. It's not that wailing kind of crying, but the whimpering, like, "why am I up here?" It is very hard to listen to, but if I bring her down, she is just as fussy. I assume she is teething, b/c she doesn't have any teeth yet. Any ideas/suggestions? Am I a bad Mom if sometimes I just get so worn out I just leave her up there?

  • How can my electric/natural gas bill be so different month to month?

I have not made any changes, used more or less (within reason) electricity or turned up the heat more. We haven't had weather that is too different from last month. How can my bill be $95 in Dec and $365 the next?

  • My 9 month old has always gone to bed at night very easily. Suddenly she cries and cries when I put her to bed?

I know she is tired b/c she is often half asleep when I put her in her crib. And she doesn't scream, she just cries. But it can last over half an hour. I have tried patting her butt and not talking to her every 5 minutes or so, to no avail. Nothing works but picking her up, taking her downstairs on the couch and having her on my lap. After about an hour of her being wide awake, I can put her back in her crib and she immediately goes to sleep. It doesn't seem to matter what time this all takes place. I have tried putting her to bed later, earlier, etc. Nothing is working. Any ideas/suggestions?
