I'm just curious as an atheist because I was asked how I'd react if Christians were right.

I'm use to getting straight 100's on everything but I've moved countries for my family.. Now I live in Brazil and got in law school and have been trying.. But not doing as well as I'm used to doing. Could anyone give me some advice in any way? I've been stressed and unmotivated lately because I just feel dumb..

Maybe a god exists and hes just uncaring. "magic" seems more likely than the whole big bang theory, statistically wise anyway.

So my point is this, would you find it easier to believe in one of the monotheistic religion gods, orrr a sadistic god who enjoys your pain and suffering, so he does not intervene.

Look at the evidence around you. How can the universe BEGIN without an unexplicable force? Such as a god. You can't scientifically explain it. It can't be proven, or do you really think humans, who have been around for about 200k-1 million years, can come up with a solution of how the universe was created, in just a few thousand years of studying. Do keep in mind that the universe is billions of years old.

I'm not saying that any religion is correct, I'm just saying you can't deny 100% the probability if a god existing. Its not possible. Maybe he doesnt care to be worshipped. I know I wouldnt if I was omnipotent. Or maybe he only has the power of creation.

What makes you so sure your little theories thought up in a few years can explain something so complex as the universe, which is billions of years old, when we don't even have all the knowledge that there is to gain from exploring our plantlife and sealife.

I'm not asking whether or not you believe he was the son of god or if you're christian or not. I just want to know if you think he may have existed. With mircaulous powers or not.

So which is it? Holy or holey? Seems like its very vague and its theories hav many holes to me.. Is that what people refer to when they say holey bible? Because I see nothing holy about it.

I personally belief both are important. Conflict makes the world grow, and its questions that more the world. Many people use religions to explain their morals, even if I believe religion came from trying to explain morals, I think its important for some people to have a faith, especially those who have nothing.. I mean lets be honest, religion has a lot of downfalls too, but do you guys believe that its essentialn for society? There's many moral atheists I know, but there are also immoral ones and theists I know would be immoral without their religion.

Well what I'm getting at is.. What's your opinion, and why?

I think its a strong, fine name. I've gotten negative feedback, but I want more opinions because I personally think its a great name.
