  • WHY does my mouse disappear?

    I downloaded the free trial of a game, installed it, and launched it. At first my mouse pointer is visible, but once I'm no longer in the main menu (level one starts) my mouse pointer becomes invisible! This is probably the 20th time this has happened. This is so annoying! Here are the details:

    Computer/ Operating System: PC/ Windows Vista

    The Game/ The Website I Downloaded It From: Diner Dash Seasonal Snack Pack/ www.Encore.com (But it's not just THIS game- it seems like most of the "Dash" games do this, which makes it impossible to play. And it's not at all the website's fault, because I've encountered this the most when I download the games from www.PlayFirst.com- and they are who CREATE and even PUBLISH the "Dash" games!!)

    My computer is set to 120 DPI if that matters- but it doesn't affect most games..so..?

    Anyone have any idea? If you need more info please let me know. This is driving me nuts. Thank you!

  • Good book on Scott Peterson/ the whole situation/ his trial??

    Initially, I was going to order 'Blood Brother- 33 Reasons My Brother Scott Peterson Is Guilty' by Anne Bird. I have, however, changed my mind because of several reviews I read as well as an excerpt from the actual book. (The woman seems delusional... and even the review on Amazon.com said that!)

    Anyway, I was- and still am- really captivated by that whole case and would like to read a book on it. Can anybody recommend a book that they have read (or heard was good) regarding the whole Laci and Scott Peterson situation? I think I am going to get the one by Catherine Crier but I want either another perspective or just one that may have a different approach or different information.

  • What is a good website to order beauty/everyday drugtore items from?

    If you have had a good experience shopping on a particular site, or just know of one that has a good reputation... or even one that has a nice, easy-to-navigate website. I know of drugstore.com but I wanted to see if there was anything else out there. (They tend to be out of stock of many of the things I try to purchase.) Thank you reading my question! :)
