Extremely irregular periods...advise?
I started my period at 14. Was put on bc at 16 to regulate cycles, but stopped taking it at 17. Periods returned to 3 or 4 times per year; nonetheless had my first child at 20. I then went back on the pill for 3 years. I'm 27 now and have been off bc for 2+years-still only 2-4 per year. When I see my family doc and/or gyn, they tell me it's fine because I've always been this way. The only reason they can give me is that I have low progesterone levels. So every 3 months or so they can give me Provera..it is linked to breast cancer when used often, so I just as soon not take it. The problem is that my husband and I have been ttc for 2 years now and nothing. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated. Ty in advance
2 AnswersWomen's Health5 years agoHow do men know they are adversely affected by circumcision?
What I mean is, if they are circumcised at birth, which a lot are, how do they know if it has affected the amount of pleasure gained through sex?
My son was circumcised at birth and a few years later after coming across an article about it, I felt bad. I mentioned this to my husband because we were trying for more kids. He replied that he wanted him to be circumcised as much as I did. He said if he himself was not circumcised, he would opt to have it done anyway as an adult.
No criticism please. I'm just curious, but I know this is a sensitive topic for most.
4 AnswersMen's Health5 years agoHormonal acne..PLEASE HELP. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.?
I'm 27 and I have a hormonal imbalance. More specifically, Progesterone. This causes many things for me; mood swings, anxiety, irregular periods and ACNE. I'm in the process of losing weight and changing to a healthier diet. Right now I'm about 163 lbs 5'5". I've been eating fresh foods and whole grains for months now and my face continues to break out. Mostly on my check bones and chin areas. Never on my forehead or nose. I've started using coconut oil to moisturize and tea tree oil to spot treat and it seems to be working. Anyone else try this and had good results or has something else worked for you?
3 AnswersSkin Conditions5 years ago9DPO BFN SOOO FRUSTRATED..good vibes please?
I'm currently 9DPO 2nd cycle trying to conceive in 4 months..stupid ovaries..I'm getting a few clear symptoms...heartburn which I don't normally have, congestion, bloated, irritable, twinges/slight cramping, food aversions, some nausea....I know it's too early for most women to get BFP but I'm becoming more and more discouraged. We have a son (7) this is our second round TTC or next child, gave up a few years back.
