How do men know they are adversely affected by circumcision?
What I mean is, if they are circumcised at birth, which a lot are, how do they know if it has affected the amount of pleasure gained through sex?
My son was circumcised at birth and a few years later after coming across an article about it, I felt bad. I mentioned this to my husband because we were trying for more kids. He replied that he wanted him to be circumcised as much as I did. He said if he himself was not circumcised, he would opt to have it done anyway as an adult.
No criticism please. I'm just curious, but I know this is a sensitive topic for most.

We don't know, we can't know. I just know it feels good (I am circumcised since birth too) and there is no way for me to know how it feels otherwise. Feelings can't really be compared between people.
So don't feel bad, what's done is done, and let your son enjoy what he have. :)

Almost NO men that have their natural penis at 21 yo get those penis parts cut off. That tells you the foreskin parts are not as much of a problem as people make it out to be, and Men LIKE their foreskin parts.
Many cut men do not regret circumcision as they have no clue about what they lost. And that is the point, these guys don't miss the 20000 pleasure nerves because they have no reference?
How can people have an opinion on this when they think that what is cut is a flap of skin? The parts have THOUSANDS of specialized nerve endings. These are the most innervated parts penis. The parts cut off shut down a huge part of the kid’s/man’s sensory system. That can never be returned. Also, many cut men have sexual function issues from the start of sexual activity. However, most will get ED at a much younger age than they would otherwise (cut men are 4.5 TIMES as likely to get ED).
The severe harm to sexual function and pleasure are ignored or downplayed by the penis part removal pushers. The long term harm is huge with nerve damage and harm to the sensory system. It is estimated that from about 10000 to 100000 specialized nerve endings are cut with this WOUNDING. The knowledge of the cut affecting sexual pleasure and function goes back years so there is NO IF as to SEXUAL HARM, it is a matter of HOW BAD IS IT for any particular guy. Maimonides (the Torah scholar) noted that the act that circumcision weakens the faculty of sexual excitement and sometimes perhaps diminishes the pleasure is indubitable. Kellogg declared a ‘war on masturbation’ at the end of the 19th century and advocated circumcision to curb male sexual urges by removing the main male pleasure parts.
So many cut guys are in denial or are ignorant (as they have no reference). They just don't want it discussed that they have been sexually harmed and they don't have a fully functioning penis.

I was circumcised at birth, and the only way I know is that it apparently feels better. It feels good being cut, so all I know is that it doesn't effect me as much.

There are no adverse effects at all unless the procedure is botched for some reason.
